There would be plenty to go around if folks would stop buying by the god damn case. My local Wal Marts and Target stores have them for about five minutes until someone buys the whole damn shelf only to keep two of each and sell the rest on eBay. Pain in the ass. It ruins the whole fun of looking for them. I'd like to buy one of each for my son and one of each for my nephew, but unfortunately I'll have to buy them from my neighbor on eBay. So gay.

I meant to ask this in a separate wave. But, is anyone really going to army build the paratroopers? I mean what can you do with them? They don't actually have the parachutes. Their gear makes them bulky and they probably won't fit in any of the planes or vehicles with all their gear.
Can you guys explain this? Thanks. Gaelinic

Cool move if you ask me as it attracts more traffic and potential buyers of stuff. Because paying almost 16 for one fig with shipping included is no fun.

What amazes me is the people on this website that can turn their attitudes on and off like a lightswitch.

A hologram or Iceman-like figure I can accept as transluscent blue... A guy or gal who has an "invisibility" function who when "invisible" turns a semi-transparent frosted blue, I don't see the need for.
I'll be frankly pissed if I get a variant Wraith, I'd rather have the real one. Invisible forcefields were a must of imagined battles as a kid... They could pop up at any time. As a matter of fact, I have 405 "invisible" Wraiths right now on my shelves, and 3,501 invisible Storm Shadows too. Actually, there's one right behind you right now, and you didn't even know it. I only wanted the black-headed Destro because he was different than my other 5 Destros, at least it was as different as I could get for it being just another IG Destro. The black head looks kinda cool though. The clear Wraith is just a silly wild-goose chase on Hasbro's part. Last edited by Mandingo Rex; 09-20-2008 at 12:29 AM.. |

Since only 8 figures come in a G.I. Joe case usually one of each new figure and then a couple older figures thrown in to get the case up to 8 figures sometimes it is all new figures, but usually only the troop builders are the filler figures, so if you collect one of each figure from the new wave, which most of us Joe collectors do you pretty much bought the whole case. Now you know and knowing is half the battle Last edited by SNAKE EYES; 09-20-2008 at 12:37 AM.. |
