I went to Walmart this morning and as I turned into the Joe aisle, I saw the pegs full of figures. I thought that the white border reissues were finally in.
I have purchased the majority of my figs on Ebay b/c other than Torpedo and Wild Bill, my area hardly ever gets anything. But then, I realize that they were almost all foil cards!! Its like the sent their excess stock to my store! Stalker, Shipwreck, SE w/Timber, Lady Jaye, Viper, Duke v.1 (yeah, I know...), Hooded CC, Red Ninja, Zartan, and the ones I really wanted - Beach Head and Firefly! I thought I was dreaming! They did have a couple of white borders too, but they were, guess, yeah thats right, Wild Bill and Torpedos! Good day in VA! |

I'm in the boondocks. Christiansburg, near Virginia Tech in SW VA. I forgot, I also picked up the white card CC with Mass. I'm debating whether I should open the foils or not. I don't liking multiples of the same figs but maybe I should contain myself until white cards start coming out for these figs. Hmm...decisions, decisions...

Yeah, I've already opened all mine and don't plan on buying any of the re-issues. But they are great for the guys just getting into the line that need to catch up. I'd probably keep the foils MOC if I were you, but that's just me. The only stuff I really plan on keeping in the cases are the extra 5 packs I got a while back when new stuff was rare and on 5 packs were on clearance. The rest are all loose on display and going to belong to my son in a few years. |

Great find. I've never seen firefly or Zartan in the wild.
Maybe they'll hit up her in Canada too. Yeah right. |

Hasbro stopped shipping foil cards earlier this year, and Walmart does not redistribute "excess stock" to other stores. Nonetheless, congrats on finding those, some like Firefly, Zartan, and the Snake Eyes have been uncommon as of late.
