Why wouldn't you call ahead and ask the store a question about a product being in stock, if they did not want you to call they wouldn't have a customer service desk or scanners that tell how many of the item you are looking for are in stock. I mean if your making a special trip to the store for a certain item you want to know if it is there before you drive to the store. I see no problem with someone calling a store to ask if an item is in stock, call me crazy I guess

Yep. Especially once you consider that in this scenario we are talking about no one is actually going into a store and instead sitting on their ass and calling.

God complex?
Seriously? So it's too much to expect someone to..I dont know...do their JOB..what they are paid to do? So, If I pay someone to build me a house and the crew lays around and shirks for several months and I ask, "My family and I are looking forward to moving into our new home, when will it be completed?" that makes me someone with a God complex? Not someone who has paid for a service? |

Paid for a service? What service is that? Your cell phone bill? Calling a store and asking them the same question day in and day out is not "paying for a service". You are not so much as giving the employee a single penny and wondering why he isn't getting up and dancing an Irish jig for you. Your analogy doesn't work.
I'm paying for product from their store...You know giving them business? I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't harrass people day in and day out. I ask someone once in a blue moon a question. THAT is what they are there for--customer service. Not being a pain in the ass or too lazy to do their job. And BTW, I don't have a cell phone. I do my looking by driving around and hoofing it. And Target employess can keep their Irish jig. I just want joes. Sab |

So everyday for the last few weeks I have called target right at eight the days I don't go. Everytime they are rude to me but the put on hold to say they're checking and then say no sorry. So today I called on the way there and it's the same deal. She puts me on hold and leaveme on hold so long that I get there walk in and watch her. She is just standing at the desk for a few minutes laughing. I watch her pick up the phone and tell me sorry she walked back there and there aren't any. So I walk to toys and what do I find a rattler and conquest just sitting on the shelf. I wonder how many times they lied to me. I hate target now.
Screw with the employees. It's amazing how they make everything shittier lower wages and still expect them to work hard. "Do you have any left?" "Sorry I'm too lazy to check." |
