I mean if he called everyday or every other day or once a week it shouldn't matter that employees job is to answer that customers store related questions honestly and do his or her job which is customer service, not very hard. I can think of about 10 other jobs that are much harder then the one in question.
I mean why knock a person for calling a retail store to ask if something is in stock its not like he is calling that person at home. God forbid an employee does their job, I have had most retail store employees be very helpful in my quest for the exclusives, but some act like your bothering them. So unless your calling an employee at home then why fault the customer for calling the store to ask if they have an item to purchase. Wow I can see how that is annoying doing your job what a bummer for that Target employee. Exactly!!

This is exactly why I don't call stores or ask employees...anything.
Seems they like to give you wrong info, send you on a wild goose chase just to make their lives somewhat...meaningful...? I find I do way better if I do all the leg work myself. Just keep hitting stores every chance I get.

Wow I cannot belive I read all this! I find it funny that he called Target and still went up there, I understand you were trying to save gas but why call them if you intend to visit the store no offense but thats just plain dumb!

i caught target in...having 2 sets in stock! checked the website store locator function and found a target that had them. picked them up on my break. much easier than calling.

i dunno... i used to work at caldor back in the day...and i never helped a call in customer unless i was right in the isle when i got the call... its a shit job with shit pay....and usuall high school kids... what do u expect... ait sayin its right.. but thats the deal

if the store closes, the employees are offered positions at other stores. So no, employees dont care if the store does well unless they are management. And Retail Giants like Target or Walmart dont go out of business. so employees dont worry or care. PROTIP: Good employees stay in their position forever and never move up. Bad employees have fun with customers and eventually leave to better and bigger opportunities. |
