Yeah no kidding. Dude, relax. Why are you acting so surprised? They are probably sick and tired of being asked. Case in point when I went to the Target out here in Southern Cali last week. I missed the boat by like 7 seconds and saw them handed off to another collector. It was all good cause I picked up two sets the next day. My point being, when I approached a sales associate (in the CLOTHING section) and asked them to look something up for me, they asked me the DCPI number. I said 0..8..7 and they looked at me and said "GI Joe?" "Yeah, why do you know that?" Everyone and their mother is looking for them. They then asked what the fuss was about and I explained to them that they were Target exclusives. They said "oh" but were still more than willing to help. You got them-your collection is a little more complete. Move on. |

And maybe its different state to state, but here in cali, walmart workes tend to be either really poor or really old. Target workers tend to be young and there are plenty of cute girls working there. |

I like how one guy's effort to blow off some steam turned into a 12 page thread lol. Well I guess it's cheaper than therapy.

I think it's all just part of the normal curve of humanity:
Approximately... 2% of people are awesome. 14% of people are pretty good. 34% of people are OK. 34% of people are kind of shitty. 14% of people are very shitty. 2% of people are utterly worthless. You're much more likely to run into someone who is just OK or worse. OK means four out of seven days of the week, they don't suck. But three days they do, and chances are those are three days they go to work. It's all a gamble, a gamble, a gamble... |

Case in point, my facility in RI, we kept telling people to work safely. Did training, promotions etc. Make a good high quality product with no defects etc and what happened? People continued to get hurt and get lawyers to sue, we made bad product b/c Joe Mike over there failed to communicate with the supervisor about where we were with the batch process and Pedro over here sat with his head down as bad product after bad product went by his station undetected. The result? They consolidated business and are closing our facility. People need to care about their jobs and their performance. They need to care about the impact they have on other employees as well as customers. Otherwise, they will find themselves out of a job as the company struggles to restructure. |

Then i was wrong and am impressed that such a shitty company offers that!

Cute girls is one thing. Working and feeling like you get paid enough or work too much and dealing with customers is something else. And if Target doesn't share it's annual profits with it's hourly workers, then that is just another reason to dislike Target in my book. There are no more cute girls here anymore. They all fell off the earth I guess. Sab |

I think you're taking the comment a bit too literally. compared to someone with a higher education seeking a six figure income, in which the job search tends to be 6 months or more, the min wage crowd's job search is comparatively next day.
