Our Target got two shipments of the HISS, AWE Striker, and Night Spectre. They each sold out in about 3 days. They never made it to clearance.
All their other exclusives got clearanced: Plenty of Order 66, Witch Doctor Rancors, Deep Space Starscreams, etc. but the Joe exclusives came and went quick. |

No stores had them in my area last week. I ended up getting 1 of each on Sat. Today, when I got up, they were available at every store in my area, so I went and picked up some more. I'm sure these will start hitting slow, then hit really hard.

I find it really, really hard to swallow that there were only 2600 of these made. Thats a tiny tiny run, we're talking Master Collector sized run like for the con eclusives.
But most inportantly none of those number mean a damned thing. How many times have we seen Hasbro go back and make more of a product when it popular? How about Flint, or Flash, or Major Bludd, or Torpedo, or Wild Bill, or Cobra Troopers, or Hiss Drivers? You can point to that number on the case all you want but that in no way definatively tells you how many were produced. That number might be a lot of things. It might be how many were made, but it just as eaisly could be how many were packaged and put into cases on a shift. Or that number might be how many cases fit in a cargo container, and who knows how many of those they may have purchased. |

Don't feed the troll. Another Target insider on YoJoe has confirmed that there are tens of thousands of these in Target Distribution Centers. The numbers the troll is throwing out don't even make sense, there are around 1500 Target stores. Almost every store I have seen has gotten their second shipment already, so that's 3 cases minimum per store (the first shipment was one case, the second shipment at least 2 cases to these stores). So 3 cases per store x 1500 stores = 4500 minimum, not counting the on-line orders. Some stores have gotten more than 3 cases already... so don't feed the troll. He probably has one on ebay trying to sell it for an outrageous sum which will only work if people panic. These things are going to be restocked frequently and for a long time, otherwise they wouldn't have gotten space in the aisle, they would have been on an end-cap for a few weeks.

Yep, these will be out in greater force, but you'll always have those fools who will throw out rectally acquired numbers in order to get everyone in a frenzy, quite possibly to find the first person to unload them on before the demand has slowed.
