Hey Everyone, I really can't wait for the resolute toys. I hope the resolute line will give me some definative versions of my favorite characters. I really like some of the designs from the artwork that has been revealed, especially Duke in particular. I might catch some flak for this but he is one of my favorites and I don't think any of his 25th figures have been that great. So my question is.. What do you want from this line? I for one am glad it looks like we'll be getting a more modern take on old favorites. The only thing I hope they don't carry over to action figure form is some of the anime designs for the face sculpts.

I hope the figures we've seen that are supposedly from the resolute line really aren't. Because what we've seen looks AWFUL, even for repaints.

I've seen the pics your talking about, and I definatly don't think those are apart of resolute. I really don't think hasbro would produce such lack luster figures for a brand new cartoon that they are trying to push. I do think those figures are real, I just don't think they are for resolute. I would think that most of the resolute figs will be brand new sculpts or at the very least partial new sculpts.

I havnt seen any of the figures supposedly from this line. Is this going to interfere with the Modern Line? I really hope not. Hasbro has a good 7-10 years out of this line if they do it right and retool...when I was a kid, I abandoned Star Wars because GI Joe figures were more detailed, more fun and I had something daily to interest me. The same is happening today. Give me a cartoon to watch and I will buy figures from it. Star Wars is really tanking in my opinion...I have all but stopped looking at the new figures, i go straight for the Joes. So I dont want a movie or a cartoon that will interfere with getting the classic figures that I loved from the 80's

For me I think of the resolute figures as apart of the modern line. What I think is so cool about it is that the designs while still looking retro are of an amped up retro. I just wish we could see some real pics of these figs. Hopefully Hasbro will really step up to the plate and have something really cool for us with these. I'm just hoping for some decent joes really. While I love the 25th line I really think that hasbro has focosed more so with Cobra. I'm just really tired of those duke arms ruining all the joes that there used on.

I actually didn't pay attention to those things.
Storm Shadow has the same arms it only looks normal because of his bandages. Duke's arm's are bare what would you like them to have instead of those arms. |

With the Duke arms I just have a problem with the articulation. I never really minded the way they look, there just not very functional.

So rather than 7-10 years, you've got about 7-10 months left, if that. I think there are only two more waves that we haven't actually seen yet, and additionally, as you've seen the bulk of the waves are repaints. I think the line has actually wrapped production at Hasbro as they divert attention to the film. They could possibly run a few classic figures here and there, the Q&A's have been less than forthcoming, but all signs point to no as the 8 ball says. We might see a reemergence after the film though.
