Hasbro's confused. Due to the fact that my Paypal payment for my blue CC is still in a 'pending' status, I decided to call Hasbro Toy Shop (for a 3rd time in the last 3 weeks) to check the status of my order. I always do so in a polite way because I know the rep on the phone is not responsible for the mess... they're just doing their job. First time I called I was told there was no matching order number in their system. The rep asked me to forward my order confirmation e-mail to them and I'd get a reply via e-mail. I did so, and received an e-mail back saying my order was received, it was processing and the figure should arrive within the original time frame (7-10 days). No blue CC arrived... Paypal still says 'pending'. Second call. 10 days after the first call... No record of order. Placed on hold again... 5 minutes, the gentleman came back and said the corporate office had my order, it has been processed and I will receive it within 7-10 days. I asked if they had enough stock of the figures to handle the load of 'missing orders'. He said yes that they are receiving extra stock of the figures (?!?). Third call... this morning. Still no CC, Paypal still pending. Could not find record of my order. Gave the rep the full story highlighted above, placed on hold to talk to 'Missing Orders Department' (not good that they need an office for missing orders, guess it happens... a lot), was left on hold for almost 15 minutes. New rep came on and said that due to the influx of orders on the blue CC, the corporate office got involved to attempt to whiddle people that ordered multiples. She said my order was, in fact, received... and had, in fact, already shipped out. She could not, however, explain why my Paypal account still says 'pending', nor could she tell me when the item shipped, a tracking number, or anything else. She said if I hadn't received the item in 7-10 days that I should call them back and ask to speak to that department directly. Anyone else having a similar situation? I feel like I'm getting the serious runaround here... I know it's not the reps fault, but my patience is starting to wear a little thin. It wouldn't be so bad if everytime I called they didn't tell me they had no record of the order and placed me on hold for long periods of time. AAARRRGGGHHH! RE: Bad Customer Service & A Lost Order To whom it may concern, I placed my order on July 28th, received the confirmation number (see attachment 1).I have called Hasbrotoyshop 8 times now since the order was placed to find out what's going on. I have been more than patient, more than polite, but this is getting ridiculous. I have Provided them with copies of the Paypal pending payment (attachment 2), as well as copies of the order confirmation (again, see below). And now I'm told, by an obviously disgruntled employee, that the only way to get this issue resolved is to e-mail the corporate office on a daily basis until someone notices. Please note, that I understand the item I ordered was heavily desired by the collector community, and as a result, may have caused problems with your web site, but that is not my fault and I do not see why I'm being strung along while a 2 month old 'glitch' gets ironed out. Also, please note that I am not one of those that attempted to order multiples when the limit was one. I played by the rules, and I'm being punished for it. Now I have called, and spoken with a very polite person at the Hasbro Customer Service number. Hopefully she can help me resolve the issue, but until then I will follow the advice of the angry Hasbro Toy Shop CSA and continuously contact the office until the issue is resolved. Thank you for your time, and thank you, in advance, for solving this issue. Scott Kruger I received this reply e-mail today: Hi Scott, Thank you for contacting Hasbro. Your order shipped on 9/10/08. You should receive it today. We appreciate your patience. We hope you will enjoy our products for many years to come. Low and behold, when I arrived home from school today, this sat upon my porch: And to top it off... looks like it was a 'no charge' item. Checked Paypal, the funds have still not been withdrawn and the invoice said nothing about the amount. And to top that off, this was on the porch in a Target box: Happy almost birthday to me! |

After all that it should be free. Keep us posted I'm curious to see if they ever charge you for the blue CC.

In one of my 8 previous conversations with HTS, they stated that they do have them in their stock room and as soon as they weed through the people that ordered multiples they'll put whatever is left on HTS. But if memory serves, that was over a month ago. So who knows? |
