Any new word on the Club Subscription since before Christmas?

What is the word here, after New Years now? Even if they stated for sure exactly what the price is going to be for the subscription, like 3 payments over the 6 months of $100 each or something?

Anyone hear anything one way or the other on this?

Nope. After being spoiled with the collection of figures we have been given I am not sure a bunch of 25th A repaints will hold a turd of a light to Hasbros latest sampling.

Aye. I can make these figures the same way they can - by modifying Valor Vs. Venom heads and stickin' 'em on 25th bodies. Hey! I already have an exclusive Jinx in my closet just waiting to be put together and painted!

I think it is stupid that you need to pay like $80 just to be able to buy the $20ish non-retail figures. It should be either pay $80 and get the figures for free or you pay the $20ish for the figures. You don't see Mattel making their customers buy a "club membership" just to be able to buy the toys.

To be fair, Hasbro isn't selling these through HTS. This is going to a significantly smaller group of collectors. If He-Man figures were made in the single-thousands, they'd be $40 each. And despite the fact that the line is all new sculpts at the start, most body parts for the entire line are already completed and we get like 2+ of the same He-Man head a year.

I emailed them to ask about it, and this is what I got back, cut from the reply Email:

Hi Shawn,

We still do not have a date of when the FSS will be up and running. They are working on some programming issues now. We estimate the price will be somewhere between $20-$25 per figure, but still do not know for sure. Thanks for your patience.

Karen

This kind of made me laugh. Man, I guarantee you're going to pay more than $300 to get these. Cover Girl alone is going to command more than $100 on the secondary market.

I like the DTC Covergirl better than the FSS version. I do want Big Boa, so I'm sure I'll pay through the nose for him!
