This is Hasbro Marketing Strategy. You pay the price of 2, and you keep one that you really one and the other collecting dust. |

I still wonder why the Conquest came out before the Skystriker.
Could possibly be because inverted wings are still being used for fighter jets while the F-14 Tomcat was retired a year ago....but any hardcore Joe fan is going to watch Top Gun and the Tomcat is the standard for 80s military air superiority (IMO). Personally, I like the Armadillo. Small armored vehicles always have a special place. Of all Ive seen so far it is the best. After the 7th I might have to change it to the X-30. ....they seriously need to make some of the GI Joe staples. Havoc, Tomahawk and Mauler. The latter definetly. |

As I've heard here on the tank, I'm pretty sure the molds for the Skystriker have been damaged/destroyed over time and I believe there were some issues like that of the Mauler as well. I haven't heard about any of the others you listed...
I'd guess any new molds H'bro comes up with this year will be for the movie line. |

I don't know about the idea of lift ticket coming with the Sky Hawk but I will be able to use the new V. of Lift Ticket with my ARAH Tomahawk.

the Skids do look a little too "extreme" but that's my only complaint, the fact it's got a windowed cockpit totally overshadows any complaint about the skids for me...

Rattler is my most anticipated but the AWE striker was one of my favoreites and Serpentor's chariot is my least liked, but I never had an Armadillo as a kid so I may be biased.

New V.A.M.P. = perfect!
New H.I.S.S., it needed very little if anything for a modern update. A coupola canopy & different weapons might be in order for a future release. New Air Chariot & Armadillo = disapointment New R.A.M. & Trouble Bubble = cool but not great I would have packed the trouble bubble with an A.S.P. , & R.A.M. with a Whirlwind The new & forthcoming C.L.A.W. bugs me. They dumbed it down and took away all the cool features. But it's the right companion for the F.A.N.G. The new SkyHawk & New Water Moccassin, I'll reserve my judgement until I have them in my hands. |

what's wrong with the engines? i think they look better/more realistic than the original... and it probably comes with Lift Ticket 'cuz he's a pilot and we wouldn't be getting him otherwise ~ better L.T. than another Duke (Airborne is coming individually carded in case you didn't know...)
the Skids do look a little too "extreme" but that's my only complaint, the fact it's got a windowed cockpit totally overshadows any complaint about the skids for me... As for the engines, they dont have cones like a normal jet engine. Other then that, there ok.... The skides are fugly... I do have a dremel, and I'm not afraid to use it.... muhahahaha But, the Sky Hawk is still my all time favorite vehicle ever... I'll still get one... Any one want a Lift-Ticket? haha Any one wanna see a Locust (1990) as 25th? I do

I like all the vehicles so far! Especially the VAMP and Armadillo since I never had them growing up but I wish Hasbro would incorporate some of the cool vehicles from 86-90. There was some cool stuff in that bunch
Night Raven Maggot Avalanche Retaliator Equalizer Mamba Raider Stun Devil Fish Tomahawk Cobra Wolf Mobile Command Center Adder Bugg Imp D.E.M.O.N Mean dog Phantom x-19 Rolling Thunder Condor Z25 Hiss 2 Fang 2 Thunder Clap Hammer Head Rage Locust Battle Bunker Some Older vehicles not done yet! Slugger Wolverine Polar battle bear ASP Snow Cat And how bout s'more playsets?!! Terrordrome! Outpost Defender Cobra Surveillance Port Battle Platform Forward observer Cobra Bunker Not all these molds can be destroyed or lost. They came out with a Mobile Command Center, snow cat and Polar Battle Bear in the Spy Troops run, the Slugger and Rage in the 15th anniversary, and the Asp in Valor V. Venom--I think (Crimson one). I think GI joe had a ton of really cool vehicles up until the "NEON" days and even some of them would have been neat given the right color scheme. So get with it Hasbro....Our troops need some bitchin new rides! |
