When was the last time you took a look through Toys R Us?

I noticed the other day the way they have their True Heroes stock in a whole aisle with TONS of selection and great items that would be a customerizer's wet dream.

So I picked up a package and turned it over, not realizing that True Heroes is Toys R Us' own brand.

Make sense now why you can never find GI Joe in the stores and none of the TRU's around me even have a space dedicated for them.

Their vehicles are awesome!! I have several of them, and am quite happy with adding them to the Joe arsenol. Too bad the figures and weapons suck.

I knew they were TRU's own brand. Never had problems finding joes there either (except waves 1-2 of POC and the most recent 30th stuff). Heck, there's 6 pegs at the one closest to me right now (no vehicles sadly).

Saw the Black Friday ad for TRU and they are the first one to actually advertise Joes in their holiday flyers. In this case a POC Mech for $10.

The TRU's here aren't like that and have equal joe and TRU heroes stuff.

The nearest ones in Rapid City South Dakota the last time I stopped in was about fifteen years ago. No Joe but plenty Star Wars, the trip really was'nt worth it.

How are you on a GI Joe collecting messageboard but haven't ventured inside a TRU for that long?

I havent been in there for a couple weeks, but 1982 is right the TRU in Rapid had 4 arctic Destro's last I looked. Walmart on the other hand gets joes in on a regular basis and Target just got in the Renegades wave not too long ago. TRU if they get anything in new gets picked clean fairly quickly.
