So what do you guys think about Hasbro mass shipping all these revision waves from Wave 6, 7 and 8? Thereby making them peg warmers since they are older figures that most collectors probably already have or want?
Me personally: I think it's funny how for over a year now, we collectors have had to drive store-to-store to try and find at least one of the newest wave of Joes sitting on the Pegs only to be given the big F.U. by Hasbro and stores whenever we came out of said store empty handed. However, now by releasing past waves in mass quantities they're just messing with us. I don't understand why Hasbro couldn't do this from the very beginning: mass release every wave back when 25th Joes first started? To make matters worse, now Hasbro mass releases a bunch of Joes that nobody even wants therefore making them peg warmers? Every Target and TRU I go to in my local town have figures that were once highly sought after; however are now mixed in with the Wild Bills and SEALs that have been peg warmers for ages such as TF Flint, Arctic Snake Eyes, Hiss Tank Driver, etc. Why not mass release the current and newest wave, such as 9? Or better yet, wait to mass release Wave 10 and so on? Which I am hoping they will do. It's funny, but since these figures are mostly aimed towards the collectors, I am imagining that none of us are considering purchasing any of these revisions cases since we went out and searched for them back in April-May when they were first released. The only people I could imagine buying these are those that missed them in the first place; which I imagine aren't many people. Sadly, I will not boycott Hasbro because of this stupid move on their part. I love these 25th Joes way to much to not want to get anymore figures because of Hasbro's stupid marketing mentality. I just hope they will mass ship future waves like they did with these revision waves, or they can go to hell for messing with us collectors and putting our hopes up with these mass revision cases =). Maybe they are putting more out for kids to have instead of us collectors. At TRU here I have kids come up to me all the time asking for Joes and I used to have to turn them away but now I get to show them the many that are on the pegs. All-be-it they are peg warmers but the kids seems happy to me. So I think its worth it for Hasbro in that instance. -imo-

By MASS RELEASE It will be able to let the kids see what they have been missing out on. It will also lower the price of the G.I. Joe Toy line, due to more sales being produced. As more items are now available as in stock. It will benefit everyone but its going to take time. Instead of collectors 'buying them all' It now gives the average consumer a 'fighting chance'. Also it will fend off those e-bay people who buy everything and put it up for sale via their on line store.

thats is a good point, there is no reason for this revision crap...maybe if they slipped 1 or 2 revised figs in each case or something of the sort, but this mass production and putting out figures everyone has is mind bogling....put out wave 10 for god's sake,we have been searching and barely finding wave 9 for 2 freakin months, what they should do is start putting out the wave 9 revision with the 2 extra bats and serpents and mass produce wave 10....but nooo, that would be to easy!!!!!

It's a conspiracy, I tell you! Hasbro is messing with us, the consumer who they depend on to buy their merchandise to stay in business. It's not like when a wave is first released, usually the scalpers get it first, then the die hard collectors, then casual collectors and it takes a while before you see it consistently on the pegs so the *gasp* children can buy it. God forbid the babies actually get a chance to buy TOYS!
That can't be it. Hasbro is F'ing with us!

It usually takes about 1-3 months or so from when a figure is carded to when it hits store shelves. Now add some time for the things to get made you probably have around 4-6 months since it was decided to make more of these. I seem to remember a lot of people complaining that they couldn't find any of these figures about that long ago. It appears to me that Hasbro is trying to please all the loud people.
