someone wants a 25th anniversary... crosshair? i know he's a fan favorite because he has a floppy hat (nothing is tougher than a floppy hat, you're not a man if your hat doesn't look stupid) and a sniper rifle (like every figure in that wave) but... I'd rather see punk rock Zartan or hair metal Zartan or Zartan as Buzzer and I think they're more likely anyway.

Python Patrol: I made this same comment some month's back. ALL the figures are accounted for. And for some some reason I really dig the Python Patrol.
As for Outback, he's my favorite Joe. I have to disagree on the Bazooka body for him. I like it on the Baz, but it just seems a little too bulky for Sgt. Selkirk. My original idea for a Outback was this:
Snake-Eyes/Stalker torso and chest.
TF Flint arms.
Bechhead legs (Maybe trade the left thigh with the Cobra Officer/Trooper left thigh - swap the knife tooling for a flashlight? But I'm just being picky on this one).
Definitely a new head sculpt.
And Leatherneck? Personally I can look past the belt buckle. But slapping some hair on Gung-Ho's head? You echoed my thoughs exactly... "SERIOUSLY?"

100% agree. However, its depending on the mold availability. As I came across one of the Q&A about Falcon. Question was "why Falcon has Duke arm instead of Flint short sleeves arm?" the answer was because the mold was not available at the time - I guess it was in used.

Do you honestly think they are not going to make most of these? It's all just a matter of time. They have 25 years of figures, characters and different versions to go through and it has only been one year since they started this line. They do not want to "blow their load" so to speak all at once. The whole point of collecting is to add to your collection, if you can just buy everything you want in one sweep the excitement and the line is done. They are purposely leaving holes, to fill them later. This keeps people interested. They have already stated that the 25th style IS GI Joe from now on. They obviously plan to make figures for years to come. In the end I expect them to release EVERYTHING. There are already 2 more Python Patrol figures announced, the CG and Copperhead, the others will not be far behind. Just give it time. I for one would rather have a hobby I can enjoy for years than a short lived "best of" set.
Another thing to keep in mind with these theoretical parts combos is that they will not always work. These figures are not 100% interchangeable. Some of these combos may simply be impossible. Unless you’ve tried putting them together don’t assume they will always work. Many heads will on fit on certain necks, arms won’t fit in different chests, etc, etc. When customizing we can deal with this, by cutting or sanding, modding the parts to get them to fit. This is not an option with a factory made figure. The parts either fit or they don’t. This is also something to keep in mind when assuming Hasbro is stupid because they did not use chest A for figure B when it would have been a “better” choice. You may think it would look better, but that doesn’t mean it would work.
Anyway on with the recipes, if nothing more they are great ideas for potential customs.

I agree. I think this line will last for a while. GvC, VvV, and DTC were crappy, had WAY less fan support, and lasted 3 years. I see a LOT of posts saying 25th got them back into collecting Joes.
25th came out with two 5 packs just to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of G.I.Joe A Real American Hero. They were well received and the line was extended.
Sure we're going to get a lot of reused parts, but with the separate web gear, who really cares. If one guy has a short sleeve button up shirt with a collar, why not use it for the other guy who has a short sleeve button up shirt with a collar?
The movie will be out next year. Of course Hasbro hopes for a success, and if you love your Joes, you'd better help make it one! Movies these days have been done in trilogies usually 3 years apart. So if the movie is a success, the 3rd movie should come out in 2015. That's 7 years of Joe minus 3 years of movie figures. So at the very least, we could have 4 more years of classic RAH Joe. Look how much stuff has come out in just 1 year? Do you not think we'll get just about everything we can think of and more?
And I don't mind the repaints as long as they follow a theme like Tiger Force, Python Patrol, Slaughters Marauders, Night Force, Jungle, Desert, or Arctic.
Overall, with the exception of Duke arms, I've been happy with this line.
And Destro's gimp hand that won't hold his briefcase.
And Breaker does have a big noggin'.
Oh yeah, and Grunt sucked!
I could have done without the closed fists on Cobra Commander and Shipwreck.
And comic, vehicle, and DVD figures coming without all their gear.
But other than that, I'm happy!
Looking for at reasonable prices:
25th Defense of Cobra Island 7-pack, PoC City Strike Destro, Ren Storm Shadow
