No thanks.
I never felt a connection with that character. I think they put him in 1 issue of the comic & never in the cartoon. Not to say I wouldn't get him if they released him, but there's SO many more guys I'd like to see before Budo. Just my opinion... |

For me at least, Budo is near the bottom of the list when it comes to '88 figures, and fairly near the bottom of the list overall.
Samurai Warriors just don't have the same 'cool' factor as Ninjas, even though the Ninja thing was flogged to death in the line. |

Look at it this way...
Do you want a 25th Budo, or a 25th Cesspool?? I think the decision is clear. Seriously though the original figure's costume and accessories were really well done, and quite realistic in comparison. The brown and gray really blended well with the "green" or camo joes. His character maybe was undeveloped, but he was right there with some other joes that I bought which about wrapped it up for me at the time. I think Big Ben was released at about that same time, I never got him but his original design was cool also. But back to our friend Budo. In comparison to many of those Ninja weirdos, He would be a no-brainer as far as a 25th figure. I should also mention that I did buy his original figure and didn't get into any of the neon colored freeks. What the heck, I bailed on Psyche-Out!! PathFinder's 2 cents. |

yes Budo would be a cool figure for the 25th line.
