So, seeing the Dreadnoks are coming via the 7 packs, along with the Marauders/Renegades, Im left wondering what the next Con Set will consist of. I know a lot of people had thought maybe the Noks, but really the convention sets are usually all about cobra troop building so the Noks were not a good fit. Personally, I have two ideas. I think the Iron Grenadiers would be a wise choice, Voltar, Targat, Annihilator and some IG troops and officers could make up the Cobra part of the set. I think Tiger Force would likely be the Joe side. Recondo, Roadblock, Tripwire, Dusty and Bazooka could all be done. From a vehilce standpoint, Destros Demon was used afew years ago in the JVC line, and pretty much all of the Joe TF vehicles have seen updated molds in recent years. (snow cat, Ferret, Vamp, water moccasin) It would be pretty easy to pull these off if you think about it. That being said, I think a Night themed set would be even better. Cobra could have Blackout, Munitia, and bunch of Night Vipers. The Joes of course would have Night Force. Most of the characters in NF could be made from existing tooling to give us a mix of new and previously done characters. While most of the vehicles that were in the original night force line have not been redone, really any vechicle could be used as long as the coloring was changed. Anyway, these are just my ideas. Im curious to see what others think we may get next year.

Well I kinda am hoping for the Oktober Guard.
Mainly because I think Munitia and Blackout would be a better fit for the subscription services. |

There are many options that could easily be done using only minimal new parts
Cobra La vs Rawhides DEF vs Headhunters Tiger Force Sky Patrol Eco Warriors Slaughter's Marauders (the rest of them) Night Force Ninja Force Star Brigade Iron Grenadiers If I had to actually guess, I would have to assume it will be something rather simple that they know the fans will buy and if we're going by that I'd say IGs vs Tiger Force seems like a VERY logical bet, especially with the leaked sub list not containing any TF figures, and Hasbro already having that IG pack ready to go a couple of years ago that didn't get released. This definitely makes the most sense....Though for the record I want some 90s love Eco, DEF, Ninjas, etc. any of that and I would be absolutely thrilled. I think they should do a set like IGs vs Ninja Force or something to make it a little more palatable for the traditionalist that hate the 90s stuff, but that way it would be the best of both worlds because the guys that love that stuff are happy and the people that don't still buy it cause they want the IGs.

I kind of thought they might do Slaughter's Marauders but now that that can't happen, I think the October Guard would be a great contender.

I'm actually thinking Night Force because then they can reissue the new Sky Striker as the Night Boomer. You KNOW they want to get more mileage out of that mold. Oktober Gaurd would be cool too, I forgot about them. I cant really see and of the 90s stuff being done... Eco, Starbrigade, DEF, Ninja Force. This stuff was just never all that popular and is generally considered what brought the classic line to an end. (for the record I did like the DEF stuff)
