I was going through my old G.I.JOe yearbook #1 to verify and shooter really was in the 1st issue of Joe! I couldn't believe I forgot this fact!
As far as new figures are concerned, I think Shooter should be made just on General principle. I also thought the original "G.I.Joe" and "Jane" ought to be made in the 25th edition as well. Also has anyone ever went back in the M.A.S.S. device mini series and to you remember the shock troops Destro beamed up into space to destroy Clutch's killer satellite? Well, I think that was yet another figure that was on the drawing board and never made it past the film. Kind of like Covergirl's blonde hair. Hasbro owes us fans that viper too. A Cobra Shock Trooper! What do you think? -M |

I think Shooter would be a great idea. G.I. Jane -- maybe later on, when the line resumes in 2010. but G.I. Joe is a must.

Shooter would make a good comic pack. It would be a good way to get Short-Fuse out also to put them together (see G.I.Joe Declassified)

line resumes in 2010? christ that is stupid beyond belief to have to wait that long. I agree shooter and Zap would be a great comic pack.

I don't really want to sound like that guy who pisses and moans about them not making "EFFECTS AND LONG ARM MAN, THEY'RE CLASSIC CHARACTERS!" but really there are some figures who should be made prior to someone who was in 1 panel or a two characters who didn't really mean anything to the Real American Hero line.

Probably more like only 6-8 months. Wasn't it confirmed that there's some "modern" planned for early 2009 release? Besides the movie line will go faster than you think. If the toys don't sell, but I bet they will... I'm sure that Hasbro has plans in place to relaunch a successful line ahead of schedule.

I've never been fond of DD's view of Shooter. Always pictured him as male myself, but if Hasbro put out a figure of her, I'd still buy it.
