So the other day a good friend of mine picked me up a wave 1 flint and a snake eyes w/black timber he said he picked them up for cause he knew i was having a bad time. I put them on my wall proudly displayed next to my doc (which i had sold and was going to be sending out tomorrow). Well I get my kids together and walk up to the grocery store. I get home and hear someone in my room. I put everything down to go see whats going on and I find my nephew in my room sitting on my bed. Well now......DOC HAS NO ACCESSORIES HE IS MISSING HIS RIGHT LEG FROM THE KNEE DOWN!!!! FLINT NO LONGER HAS HIS SHOTGUN OR HIS HEAD AND SNAKE EYES SEEMS TO HAVE MAGICALLY EATEN TIMBER AND HIS SWORD!!! WTF!!! My step mother (wonderful woman whom I have despised since I was 11 when her and my adopted dad met). Said nothing didn't scold him just said "oh i'm sorry". Sorry.....she's freaking sorry.....and my nephew that wonderful little brat (if you knew him you'd know why i'm calling him a brat) actually looks at me and says "I didn't do it". No punishment I get the dirty look and told I shouldn't be mad for him being in my room. WTF!!!!!!!! My parents know I collect Joes. My nephew knows I collect joes and I have told him millions upon millions of countless times "no i don't play with my joes i collect them so no you Cannot play with them". I swear this week is just getting worse and worse as it goes along!

I don't know how.....needless to say i'm getting a lock for my door....this is the second time i've had something destroyed in my room. I had some parts from my General vehicle I had when I was a kid that were still good until my nephew got ahold of it. I swear every toy he touches gets freaking destroyed! I'll see if I can find my camera to show the damage.

wow, that really sucks man, sorry about the bad week your having. I hope they weren't MOC, I can't even imagine what I would do to that boy. BTW I highly suggest you buy a lock for your bedroom door.

Well, they are toys, and that is what kids do with toys. Impressive that he got Doc's leg off, though.

getting a door lock is my next priority....and him taking a toy apart limb by limb or joint by joint doesn't surprise me at all. I've seen him take figures with no knee articulation and somehow break the leg off around the knee.

This too shall pass, yo.
I know words don't mean much in this situation, but it will get better, whether you move back to the Land of the Rising Spud... or the nephew gets India ink in his tooth brush... or you or "your kids" play in his room and accidentlyonpurpose rip his stuffed animal(s) head (s) off.... |

You have my deepest sympathies and I understand your pain quite well, though when my two nephews(it must be something with nephews) desrtoyed my original collection I didn't have anything of serious value except for Snake-Eyes and a couple straight arm figures. I also got the kids will be kids line from my father and locks, while wonderful, don't always work unless you get a really good one that can't be sprung with a good hard twist. I went threw about 6 locks on my door when my nieces and nephews were growing up.

i know he's just a kid and curiousity and wanting does get the best of kids but its just frustrating my step mother knows that my room is off limits. I honestly think that she either wasn't watching him, didn't care or let it happen so she would have a reason to go to my adoptive father with a "oh josh got mad again" story. Of course I'm mad the few things I do have of value got destroyed, my soon to be ex wife left me for someone else and told me to take our youngest two kids cause she didn't want them. Who wouldn't be mad!!!
