I finally got back to Joe hunting today. My motorcycle has been in the shop and I've been racking up serious overtime at work so searching for Joes has been on the back burner for awhile. I got my bike back today and could justify a trip into town for the sole purpose of finding Joes based on the fact that my bike doesn't burn anywhere close to the amount of gas my car would. Long story short, I was expecting to find empty pegs yet again, but both Target and TRU was stocked with everything. I was finally able to find the BAT I've been looking for (there was only one and it had a bent card but I got it anyway). I was seriously contemplating buying the dvd packs and the comic pack with Falcon and NE. I didn't because I already have most of the figures in the dvd packs, different versions, but the same characters. I've read on here some Tankers stating seasons one and two of the old cartoon will be released in the near future. I need advice. Do I go back in and snap up all vehicles, comic packs, and singles I can and wait for the episodes to be released as part of the seasons one and two? Or is there a reason I need the dvd packs? I'm assuming the episodes on the dvd's will be part of season one or two. In the reviews section it was said the dvd contains no special features, so outside of the figures and accessories is there any reason I can't wait until the release of the entire seasons?

As far as I know, there's been no official word of a DVD re-release of the complete cartoon series at all.
You'd think that the run up to the movie would be an ideal time for such a cash-in, but nothing can be taken for granted in this hobby. Buy those sets, as the Lady Jaye figure is great if nothing else!!

I'd say go get the DVD sets, nothing is ever certain, I haven't heard a thing about season sets getting re-released and you're getting 3-4 figures and a 5 part miniseries DVD for $20! Even if you only want the DVDs you can always sell the figures on here or on ebay thus making some of your money back, I bet you could wind up with free DVDs doing this |

I picked up sets 1 and 2, I know pyramid of darkness and arise serpentor are due in the fall, but what is the 5th set supposed to be? Is that the best of episodes? You guys were right about the figures, especially Lady Jaye. The dvd pack version is way better than the earlier figure. Thanks.

Set #5 is indeed a "best of..." DVD. No idea what episodes they'll include, but I'll probably disagree with their choices!!!
