If production was where it should and stores ordered according to demand then everyone would be happy. If I had it my way I would cut out the middle man and order from catalogs provided by 'Hasbro'. Kinda like JC penny catalogs but dedicated to Joes. Hasbro would make millions more than they are right now.

I don't think Walmart is giving up on joes also but I do think that Hasbro has shifted its distribution focus to Target right now. I would guess this goes in cycles to keep all retailers happy.
In my area, Walmarts were always the best option for joes until Wave 9 hit and now Target seems to get everything in first and more quantities than Walmart is. The joe section at my local Targets are packed with single figures, vehicles, DVD packs, 12" figures and newer comic packs while my Walmarts are dry on single figures and have some comic packs and 12" figures.

This is why I posted this. This is a photo I took this morning with my digital camera. This is the Walmart on Unisverity Drive in Huntsville Alabama. It's been like this sense June.Although They had part of wave 9.I did find Bazooka,BBQ and Hawk but sense then nothing.I will agree that that Hasbro shares som blame here as well with the Distribution of this stuff.Transofrmers and Mavel stuff all Walmarts keep getting in GI Joe what's that?

I highly think it is a Distribution problem because the walmarts I've checked, that helped me, told me that they had roughly 50 to 60 case ordered, but for some reason that haven't got them in yet which they seem really baffled about

My walmart has been aces. I have seen at least 6 cases of wave 9 (of which I bought 3 - 1 for me and 2 for my less fortunate homies), all the vehicles, 2 sets of wave 5 comic packs, and 4 of each DVD set. I live in a town of 13,000 people.

Similarly, two independent stores in my city have been trying to make up for the failings of the big stores, and Wave 9 shipping was a disaster. One store ordered 10 cases and got none (now three weeks overdue), and the other ordered 60 cases and got 4 (the remaining 54 are now two weeks overdue). If hasbro doesn't ship the product to the stores, the stores can't sell it. You are incredibly lucky. I live in a city of over 1,000,000 and the city has reveived 5 cases of wave 9 (I missed all), no CP5, and no DVD packs. We got about 10 cases of vehicles though, but all but two armadillos are gone now. |

The other day I asked a walmart employee for some joes. She told me that guys hang around at night to get the cases of the pallets. They pretty much never get a chance to hit the shelves around here.
