ok so last christmas i got the New 32" Millennium Falcon and while i do love it it was more about fulfilling a childhood wish to replace the one my dad threw away when i was 8 or 9 years old, i dont collect starwars i mean i have like one other ship mace windue i think any way should i keep it or get rid of it for other stuff more in line with the things i do collect i've been mulling it over and over in my head. i wouldn't want to ruin it by repainting or modding it to fit in with cobra(i just imagine that if it was in the joeverse cobra would have it) i looking for some real advice from my peers not telling me to get rid of in hopes that i give it to you.
so to keep or not to keep that is the question

I'd say keep it, man. I've really regretted getting rid of my toys (repeatedly, lol).
At least give it until winter. If you still don't want it then, throw it up on eBay. Someone will surely snag it up to buy as an xmas present. But as a friend...I say keep it. The friggin' thing is epic and will always keep childhood memories alive. Just throw it in a closet and forget about it. A year from now, you'll dig it out and be glad you still have it. |

well...very interesting bc i also have that set, it only came with 2 figs, is very heavy and i too imagine cobra would have it as part of their arsenal. I wanted to hang it up but the thing is so heavy that if it were to fall it would do some serious damage. You could get cobra stickers online, i have seen it posted before a place to buy a bunch of stickers of gi joe or cobra, that wouldnt damage it too much, thats what i thought of doing. While im waiting, to make my descion i have loaned it to a friend who has a son and he loves it. So like you I have the same predicament. I would hold on it, it really is a great toy. try creating some bios around it I think that could be a lot of fun. When I get mine back then I will.

Me? I'm not a Star Wars junkie so I'd ditch it. I did score one for my nephew Seth for his B-Day on the cheap at Target (clearance sale, damaged package) and sure, it's cool but nothing I want or need.
So, as a non-Star Wars collector? Ditch it...sell it or trade it on here, get Joe stuff, feel fufilled by a superior toy line...even if I did just buy Fanboys on DVD. |

Like others have said, give it a few months to a year, and then see if you still want to make room. |

I love the thing. It was genuinely my favorite toy in the toy room until my Flagg arrived. Now it's a close second. The lights, sounds, details... I mean Hell, the loading ramp is awesome, and it's just a loading ramp! I push the button on it almost daily just to watch it drop and hear the sound it makes.
