Yes, there is a decent Alpine in the best of 80s DVD set.

I just find the dvd figures not such good sculpts/moulds, they need to release him and all figures in single packs.
Can't wait for the 7 packs... |

I'd have to ask the same question, as I've never seen any firsthand evidence that the Best of the 80's Pack even exists.
(In other words, never seen it, never found it available online at any halfway decent price, and at this point probably never will). Yes, I know it exists, but it may as well not as far as I'm concerned. |

You may never have seen the fifth DVD set, but I bet you saw the remnants of it as it was packed with three of the other four sets in the series. A poorly planned move by Hasbro, if you ask me. I had hoped the Greatest Battles set would be packed with more Best of sets [perhaps two each per case] but that was not the case... literally, I suppose.

No they did not make a 25th anniversary Alpine. They did make a Modern Era Alpine.
