I dig the new Joes coming that don't have ARAH counterparts. I'm glad to see Wraith and Cobra Flint et al. Don't get me wrong, I still want my Recondo and Tunnel Rat... but some of those late 80's Joe and Neon Cobras, may they please never see the day-glo light of day!

Don't mistake me. I don't think it's a bad idea for Bro Job to diversify. It's just I've never collected modern MOMC Joes before and when the 25th series debuted I couldn't resist. I'll still get stuff to open (I like the bazooka trooper, I'm not too keen on the Para-Viper's colors though it's clearly a well-designed toy). But Hasbro branching out into new things is nullifying my nostalgia so I can go back to being a straight-up opener and just get the classic stuff to keep MOMC. My search for good cards and uncrushed bubbles has been reduced.

I would take a para viper mask trakker, and a bazooka trooper (which i actually like) over ice cream soldier anyday. If they ever re-make that figure I think it might start a revolt.....
Besides, buy what you like, don't buy what you don't. I couldn't imagine buying everything, it is probably costing some collectors upwards of a few thousand dollars.... |

Well, these new figures mean I get to save my money for awhile. None of the figures out of the next couple waves (maybe Junkyard/mutt) will be kept MOC. Unless my son sees them and wants one to open it...they will not be for me. The classic card art (mainly) along with the new updated figures is why I starting back into collecting Joes. I was never into the comics, so I see new figures that I never had back in the day and they do nothing for me.
