LOL I frequently hide in my local Wal-Mart and it always works!
Next to the toy section, is the home improvement section and I take G.I. Joes and Star Wars figures I can't afford at the moment and put them behind some red buckets. I'm pretty sure the employess know about it but don't give a crap. It works out great, I can't believe no one else sees it. |

I haven't done this much since the 2002 He-Man relaunch LOL
Behind board games and such that look like they've been sitting on the shelves a while. Also behind the seasonal stuff like squirt guns and kiddie snorkel sets. I usually only hide stuff if I know I'm coming back soon to get it; I remember doing so when the regular 25th Vipers started appearing back in April. |

I never hide, if I really needed it, magic credit card comes out!
And then I cry... When I was a kid, I used to hide toys in the clothing section. But me and a mate got caught hiding some Gobots one time (man that was a long time ago), and we got chased out by security. Last edited by foor; 07-11-2008 at 01:56 AM.. Reason: Grammar is my friend |

I personally believe credit cards are "The Devil". But if I don't have the cash on me to buy the Wraith variant (if I ever find it) ,then I'm selling my soul,....again. Like the time I found the Target exclusive vehicles.

I could not agree more! If you can't afford to buy Joes, you really shouldn't be collecting Joes. If money is that tight, use your cash for lunch or gas, or buy Corps figures. Certainly don't hinder stores from stocking more Joes because their inventory says they have 13 in stock (hidden all around the store) and they refuse to order any more until they sell. Your selfishness is detrimental to the Joe community.
Hiders contribute nothing but Joe shortages and are one step above scalpers and two above shoplifters in my book. If you can't afford it, leave it where it belongs for those of us who can. Maybe the next shipment will be there when you can. You're not a kid anymore, so waiting for your allowance is no excuse. Buy it or leave it alone! |

I also think that hiding sucks. I accept that people like to hoard up everything they see--I don't like it or agree with it, but I accept it. But to go the extra step to hide stuff so that others can't find it. Sucks. You are all Cornbots! |
