Stashers!!!
Watch out, someones going to start an anti-stasher hate thread. I do it too, but actually go back to buy the stash. It's also a good way to let fellow tankers know where stuff is on the pm.

Whats worse is when ppl forget where they put them and the store inventory shows 12 when actually none are on the shelf. Well the proper shelf that is. Have some great finds come inventory and store moves.

I found a Lady Jaye and Zartan tucked in behind a box of diapers I had to buy one evening! Sucks for the other dad who thought it would be a good idea to stick them on top of a pack of Luvs!

A local Wal-mart was closing down here in WV, and they were opening up a Super Wal-mart on the other side of the parking lot. I went over at lunch one day while they were moving stuff to the new store and they had a bunch of stuff on clearance. I found four 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime's for 44.84 each. Needless to say, I only have one left, as two of my co-workers bought them. It's still nice to see an MIB Prime on my shelf.

Something that has been really bugging me is that the Wal-Marts around my area (at least 4) all have 3 – 4 full pegs of the first 2 waves of comic packs and they have been there for months now. There is literally no room for any new ones, so the Copperhead/Firefly/Red Star comic packs could very well be sitting in the back of these Wal-Marts. My wife suggested we “hide” them and maybe they would put out new ones. A friend of ours that worked at Wal-Mart from 96 – 05 told us that they never put out new toys if they have full pegs of older ones, most likely they will all go on clearance at the same time. Anyone think this could help get new stuff out? |

Well I'm not telling the exact location of my stashings. The only time I do it is when they get in new figures I don't have or popular figures I know someone needs or I can sell easily. It also has to be bad timing for me funds wise.
Just find something in the store that is heavy with dust on it. Chances are that no one will ever find your stashings. As for joes peg warming and nothing new getting put on the shelf...just buy all the items if possible and return them at a different store preferably out of state. Gives you a chance to get newer stuff and someone else a chance to get stuff they missed. |

as a CHILD I would move them way in the back of the hanger, there were not as many 30ish toy men back then, so the competition was only other children. Now I just put figures back where they belong when I find something out of place. If I'm looking at toys I darn well better be able to afford toys
