Peg warmers of that high a number means bad things for the comic packs. Sales are stopped, so stores will stop carrying the packs, the wal-mart by me is already not traited for any more of the comic pack lines, suck!

We've had some great figures that otherwise wouldn't have been released thanks to the comjc packs, so I for one would miss them if poor sales led to the range being canned.
I'm still missing two thirds of Wave 4 too...

The Comic inserts also take away from the vintage look as well. I bought the twins just because thats the only way I could get em. For those who keep them MOC comic packs arent nearly as favorable....I pray Quick Kick doesnt get the comic treatment

I can tell you right now: comic packs sell slower than single cards. That is a fact, and it is a fact that applies to STar Wars as well. For whatever reason, a majority of buyers will spend $7 on a single action figure over $10 for two and a comic book. Because of that, it is a LOT easier for stores to keep a large, consistent, supply of comic packs than regular figures. But that doesn't always mean they aren't selling. I've been tracking the pegs at my local Walmart and they ARE selling...they aren't selling out of 2 cases right off the bat though. And again, the comic packs DO serve several solid purposes for retail and brand exposure (plus fan favorites): without comic packs, there would literally be NO Snake Eyes figures available for purchase in my area, period. With spotty availability of the singles, major characters like Destro, Cobra Commander, Duke and Storm Shadow are currently only available in the comic packs around here. Characters like Breaker, Red Star, Wild Weasel, Ace, Tomax, Xamot, and the Dreadnoks would like have not been made as soon as they have been or at all in the cases of guys like Red Star or the upcoming Nemesis Enforcer. Given how badly Buzzer has continued to warm pegs in many markets, it may well have been a good idea for Hasbro NOT to have released the other two Dreadnoks on singles in short order.

Wave 3 and below are in complete over flow in my AO. I believe that is why I can not fined wave 4.

My nearest wal-mart has been stuffed with comic packs as well, yet it still put out a set of wave 4. Even those sat for a few days before being purchased.

I hated wave 1 of the comic packs except destro, and unfortionatly i still see the purple scarlet and the neon duke and CC clogging the shelves. I dont understand the color scheme on these. But i think the rest of the CC are great and i dont mind seeing the occasional tomax or scarred cobra trooper on the pegs
