Just went skimming through most of this thread for nostalgia's sake. So many broken photos. :(
Still, it was a lovely trip down memory lane. |

For any of you who happen to be Ninja Turtle enthusiasts, I started a Turtle-themed variation of this thread on the Technodrome forum:

too bad the second "pizza box" pop-up set never came out. was really looking forward to turning it into a Extensive Enterprises office. The sewer set made for a nice playspace for my ROC Joes.

Wow, this thread is perfect!
I was a Transformer and GI Joe fanatic as a kid in the 80's. With the recent resurgence of TF through Masterpiece and 3P, I went nuts collecting. Well, a local vintage toy store has been getting a steady supply of GI Joe stuff, and I've started buying up. My main idea is to build some display dios for GI Joe vs Transformers. Those 2 franchises just seem to be working SO well together. |

Target had these on sale 2016-2017 to current. You might be able to still get these. They're pretty in scale with Joes.
Battat: Terra Animal Hospital Terra Wooden Horse Barn If you don't mind the aesthetics a lot of the Lil Woodzez Target line and Calico critters/ Sylvan family stuff will work. Some of the stuff is too low and it can get REALLY costly so you decide, and some buildings are outrageously silly, because Sylvan family is japenese and Lil Woodzez looks colorfully plastic. Target recently released this monstrosity online only for example. Lil Woodzeez Honeysuckle Hillside cottage Playmobil stuff can work, but don't expect anything to be true 1:16-1:18. It's more like the old Vintage 3.75 joe scale. Also SUPER EXPENSIVE, but you get nice stuff. |
