I found this today at Target. It was $29.99. The only other A-10 Thunderbolt I know of (that scales with Joes well) is from the Power Team elite line and it's like $100+ to get one now. There is one from the Terminator Salvation Toy line, but that one is really small and doesn't have retractable landing gear. I can't tell if this one has retractable landing gear or not. On the back they show a pic of a Helicopter that they had there as well. It looked pretty neat as well. This line is exclusive to Target, so I think it's like The Corps at Walmart and True Heroes at TRU. I plan to do a review of this as well. Hopefully it doesn't take me that long to do it though. Here is some pics.

Saw that Hind and A-10 the other day. Sadly, the Hind is way too small. The cockpit only holds one figure. The A-10 wings looked short. I passed on both, but was tempted by the A-10.

All things considered, and in relation to actual Joe vehicles, that Hind is pretty neat (or the initial release version was...this one may have been changed for all I know). It featured a some neat details, a handy troop/cargo area and it was a good price. I had no trouble viewing it as an attack chopper Cobra commissioned MARS to create on the cheap.
The A-10 was oddly proportioned and stubby, but still pretty cool. I sold mine after the True Heroes A-10 came out. There was was some action feature I wasn't too thrilled with, IIRC. I think I'll mosey on over to Target today and see what's what. |

Saw both of them today. They're each priced at $29.99, which might be justifiable for the A-10 considering it includes "action features," but that still seems overpriced. For the Hind, not so much. It's really only a neat item at a lower price point. It's a $15.00 toy, if that. The inclusion of a cheap motorcycle, an extra crappy figure and overly large packaging (it's seriously ridiculous how huge the box it comes in is) doesn't change that. Maybe I'd buy one for 20 bucks, maybe, but definitely not for 30.

You know, for a little extra, I can get another Eaglehawk.
Does the mini-Hind at least have a troop bay? |

Anyway you cut it, the Eaglehawk was a helluva deal at clearance prices and much more worthy of it's $45 original price. |

True. But that Hind would make a totally bitchin' FANG custom.
