View Poll Results: Should Hasbro produce the Oktober Guard?
Da, they deserve a few slots among the 30th anniversary releases. | 68 | 45.03%
Not at retail, but they'd make a good online exclusive. | 55 | 36.42%
They'd be a good JoeCon set, as only a few really dedicated collector's would want these. | 17 | 11.26%
There are at least a half dozen or more sub-teams I'd rather see before the OGs | 9 | 5.96%
Anyone at Hasbro who signs off on these should be fired. | 2 | 1.32%

I want to see the Oktober Guard as a multi-pack either in retail or online exclusive.

US-Russian relations have been alternating between partnership and rivalry, and no newsman can resist asking whether it's "Back to the USSR" every time Moscow flexes its military muscles or cracks down on political opposition. At the same time, Russian cooperation has been essential for NATO operations in Afghanistan. |

I REALLY wouldn't want them at retail. There's absolutely no need for that. So many other figures I want to see get the spotlight.
Having said that, I'm all down with a 7-pack online exclusive. I think that would be awesome. |

Yes on the online exclusive boxed set!
I never had these when I was a kid and would love to get some ME-style ones (removeable helmets, webgear, etc.), but with Soviet symbols and gear as we have seen on them. It doesn't matter if the Soviet Union doesn't exist anymore. The Soviet Union still exists in the Oktober Guard! |

There is no need for an October Guard that are equipped like peasants from the Korean War . Do it modern or not at all . It's Russian Special Ops not Siberian hillbillys .

I'd go with more direct adaptations of the original 5 plus Dragonsky (like Lifeline, Airtight, and Sci-Fi) as part of the 30th Anniv. line and some Modern Warfare inspired of the lesser known post-Soviet Guard (Ruslan, Sgt. Misha, etc.) that are POC-style.
The Russian military still uses the red star pretty extensively, so its not really an issue. |

I was really hoping that one of the new box sets was going to be them-- I'm sorry to see that the idea of figures of the Guard was shot down in the latest q & a-- I must've missed that.
