25TH RUMOR LIST
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3650 25TH FIGURE INDEX (See and read about all of the 25th Anniversary figures!) http://www.hisstank.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4207 SINGLE PACKS Beachhead from wave 2 Stalker and Firefly from wave 3 have been released with retooled crotches. The crotch is now thinner to allow better leg movement Stalker comes in 2 colors, Yellow camo and Green camo. Yellow is the first release and was a mistake made by the factory. Hasbro has corrected this color mistake and Green camo Stalker can now be found in stores Zartan's face changes color with the temperatures. Cold will make it turn green, warm will make it turn back to normal. (There are a few variants concerning the color change feature on the figure and the packaging) Wave 4 was a special wave first released in December 2007 Hasbro decided to release this wave to allow fans to get single pack versions of figures from the wave 1 GI Joe and Cobra 5 packs (Snake-Eyes, Cobra Soldier and Baroness are NOT re-released in this wave) All the figures except for Gung-Ho have no changes made to them, they are EXACTLY like the box set figures. Gung-Ho was re-released with the anchor on his hat removed (A few of the hats with anchors were also released as a single card) The Air Trooper from the Cobra Legions 5 pack was released on a single card in place of the Cobra Soldier in wave 4 Every case assortment (8 figures) typically has 3 extra figures. For the first 2 waves they were Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow and Hooded Cobra Commander. Wave 3 replaced Cobra Commander with the Cobra Officer from Wave 1. Wave 4 had no extra figures as all 8 figures were 1 per case. Wave 5 has Hooded Cobra Commander, Shipwreck (With no anchor on his belt buckle) and a Crimson Guard as the extras. Wave 6 only has 3 new figures so it will have 5 extras The 25th B.A.T. figure will have 2 different backpacks, a regular and damaged chest window and a regular and damaged head along with 3 "spores" and all the usual arm attachments MULTI-FIGURE PACKS Cobra Legions 5 pack includes an Air Trooper. This figure comes with a retooled Jump jetpack, laser gun, helmet with mask, Officer helmet and rifle so he can look like a comic Cobra Officer or the Air Trooper The first wave of Comic Packs were released in January 2008 (There will be more than 3 waves) Wave 3 of the comic packs will feature 3 all new comics written by Larry Hama. These comics are supposed to take place in between old Marvel comics. The "Scarred" Officer from wave 3 Comic Packs and the Night Watch Troopers from the TRU exclusive 5 pack have painted on hair instead of being bald like the previous Officers and Troopers There are 4 planned DVD Battle Packs, which will include 3-4 figures, diorama pieces, and DVDs of one of the cartoon mini-series. Also each Battle Pack will include a part of the MASS Device playset (5 parts in total). Sets are: MASS Device mini-series Revenge of Cobra mini-series (Weather Dominator) Pyramid of Darkness mini-series Arise Serpentor, Arise miniseries There was a GI Joe the Movie DVD Battle Pack planned but it has run into a snag. It's unclear if it will be released or not and what happens to the final part of the MASS Device EXCLUSIVES Target will be getting 3 vehicle exclusives in Spring 2008. Toys R us will have 7 multi-figure pack exclusives Wal-Mart will have an exclusive (Details haven't been released yet) VEHICLES Classic looking vehicles with updated molds will be released! Small vehicles will be in two packs with a figure for each vehicle RAM & Breaker Vs. Trubble Bubble & Tele-Viper Armadillo & Driver Vs. Serpentor (Single pack Wave 2 version) & his Air Chariot Larger vehicles will be single packed with a Driver VAMP & Clutch HISS & Rip-it MAIL-AWAYS Doc will be the mail away figure for spring 2008. Hasbro has said he will be carded to look like the retail 25th figures. To get Doc, fans will have to send in 6 proof of purchase stickers from the Comic Packs. Before buying your comic packs in stores, make sure to look at the bottom of the package. If there is a cut in it or if the tape appears to be retaped, there is a chance that the DOC Proof of purchace was stolen from that pack. Official Entry Form for Doc: http://www.hasbro.com/gijoe/closeup....PIECES-502.jpg The first 2 waves of comic packs has an older order form that does not mention the Flag/Battle points you can send in. The above updated order form should start appearing in wave 3 comic packs Complete rules to get Doc: 1. Collect and save the proof-of-purchase stickers from 6 G.I. Joe Comic Packs. The DOC redemption stickers will be available in the first 9 comic book packs. (These will be the items shipping for the first half of 2008.) 2. Attach the stickers to the spaces on the redemption form included with the comic packs. (You can have any combination of 6 stickers!) 3. Clearly print your name and address in the space provided. 4. Mail the completed certificate (name and address clearly printed, all 6 stickers attached) and a check or money order for $4.95 (made out to Operation: Rescue Doc Redemption Request) to: 5. If a fan has collected 6 Proofs-of-Purchase plus $4.95 shipping, they are also allowed to include 50 Flag points and/or Battle points and $4.95 for each additional figure (limit of 3 extra figures). (Note: If you use the Flag points/Battle points option, please verify that your letter does not require additional postage before sending.)
