This argument (for lack of a better term) comes up often, and obviously has done little to stem the tide of 'in bulk' collectors. You do as you please folks, as no one can literally stop you. Collect as much your wallet will allow. To me it really matters little, accept to point out what could be the potential impact to your fellow collectors. |

I believe that anyone who buys mutiples of figures is fine, and it is their right to do so. I PREFER it if they USE them, as others who would like to are less fortunate in their endevaors. However, they have every right to keep them in the package. I never said this individual was in the wrong, I merely said I admire Soundwave Viper. Perhaps I should clarify what I meant byu "THE RIGHT REASONS"-
Anyone who buys a hundred some odd figures and sells them on e-bay (read; Price Guages) or something to that effect is not a friend of mine or collectors anywhere. I have no doubt Agent is an upstanding collector who is long overdue his Joe haul. |

Whether he opens them or not isn't the point. The point is (and again, as a Joe fan for life I completely understand his mania and respect how he went about it) that purchasing so many at once for one collector appears to the naked eye to be greed, plain and simple. I don't care what level of civility or excuse one attempts to apply to it, it simply is what it is. I leave it to you, thread readers, to decide if you apply a title of good or bad to this behavior.

I remember the "moment of silence" we had at school. I also saw (and remember seeing) Jedi at the theaters, even though I was only 3! Battle of the Planets, though? I never saw that as a kid, and don't know anyone else that did. I did enjoy me some Speed Racer, though.
And wasn't it Qaddafi who threatened the U.S. in his intimidating speed boat? Also, only I collect figures "the right way." Get used to it, bub(s).

"Battle of the Planets"... I was there for it's first run. I Fancied 'Princess' like mad too.
Who wants to talk about army building? Boring! Put this thread in a time capsule for future generations to boggle at.
