I am in the process of opening up my Target AWE Striker, and I noticed on the side of the box, Gung Ho V1 and Dusty V1 are featured in the art.
Somehow I doubt Hasbro would have put Dusty there if they weren't planning on releasing him. They could have just digitized another character in his place. |

Certainly the possibility. He is being released in the 12 inch line best I remember. Easy enough to put together from existing pieces.

Now that is a 25th Joe I'll be buying for sure. As long as he looks like the original, and not some weird tan colored Flint.

I'm glad he's "digitized" on the package instead of printed.

As long as he has the cloth helmet attatchment (and Hasbro glue it on properly for the modern version!) I'll take a Dusty.
I seem to recall that, along with the Tele-Viper, the original ARAH Dusty had the most fragile crotch of the lot. I got through quite few of both figures!

Well, there's been a lot of "don't get your hopes up..." coming from Hasbro only to have something show up months later. To name a few:
Barbeque Snow Serpents Tiger Force and Python Patrol Figures About anything Wal-Mart Lists in their computers too far in advance... So, I don't let anything they say go as certain. That said, until its in carded and on a truck to Wal-mart, I won't be expecting it anytime soon either. |

However there is the fact that they changed the artwork to show Crankcase's new head and to get the wire out of Gung-Ho's face. Maybe they'll make him. But instead of basing this off of artwork, why don't we see what parts could be repainted to make Dusty. That'll probably give us a better idea of what figures could be coming out |
