A few days ago I placed an order for wave 8 and 9 on the Hasbro's website. It says the expected wait is 7/17/08 for the wave 8 and 8/21/08 for the wave 9. Does anyone know how acurate that is? I'll keep my order with Hasbro but wave 8 has hit the shelfs. I looked yesterday for some in my area, but still no wave 8 and I finally saw wave 7 and snached all of them about 5 days ago. Anyway if anyone can give me a heads up on Hasbro and there dates being accurate that would be great. thanks much...

I am wondering the same thing. Although the lack of pressure to scour the stores looking for the ones I want to no avail is a welcome feeling, and I do not need these yesterday!

i usually just pre-order from hasbro as a just in case i cant find these figs in stores...but after i find them in stores i just cancel my order...as for dates seems pretty dead on...cause i think hasbro ships to retailers first before they start shipping out from they're site...it also says august shipping date for the vehicles but im pretty sure we'll start seeing them in stores before that...hope this helps otherwise im sorry lol

Hasbro Toy Shop is usually on the ball when it comes to dates.
That said, I've heard from most that they will charge your card prior to having the items in stock...so if that's an issue for "you", be sure to keep that in mind. |

I belive you are correct Tiger Force Dude about retail getting them 1st. I like how Hasbro ships, the figures look so nice, and the figures packaging is so nice compared to the store shelf, plus I save on gas with no driving around and I also saved another 10% with the promo. But the thing is I want these things asap, what can I say I'm still a kid deep down inside.

my personal experience. ordering from hasbro is a joke!!!! period . i'd rather pay a couple bucks extra than deal with there ignorant staff and thieving packaging chip on their shoulder destroying content people.

I just got off the phone with Hasbro and they said they would not charge my account until the items ship, as far as the dates they ship being correct he said maybe i'll get sooner maybe later he did not know. I could call again and get another customer service rep and get a diffrent story. As of right now my card has not been charged and the order says back ordered. I'll just keep it with Hasbro and when I'm out and about I'll look around. I seem to have gotten my answer that Hasbros dates are not 100% but pretty close. thanks all...

The dates are expected. I ordered a few items and they had them in stock earlier. Sometimes its on backorder for a while. I guess it depends on what is shippped out to the retailers and what HTS actually gets. I preodered Wave 8 last month and found them at retail today. I will probably just cancel the order since I have everything I ordered.

Wow, sorry to hear that. My only "gripe" with HTS is the lack of packaging that goes in to each outbound parcel. Other than that, I've had nothing but great experiences with the Customer Service staff there. CB, have you ever contacted HTS to express your concern(s)? |
