Soldier Force V Tank
Here’s a short review of a Chap-Mei Soldier Force V tank compatible for 3.75inch figures that I scored last year in a department store in Suwon , South Korea . Accessories Since the box was so huge, I had to haul this out of the box to save on my check-in luggage. Out of the box, here is what I got. - Five (5) projectile missiles which can be mounted & fired at the tanks turret - Weapons case with 3 other weapons - Binocular - Riffle - Machine gun Looking closely at the assortment of weapons, we’ll see that much of it is not compatible for 3.75” figures, but rather better for 6” figures. I’m using these guns as added weapons for ML Punisher & DCUC Deadstroke. The two (2) figures that came with it are pretty decent and made of sturdy material. Detailing & paint apps are also acceptable. Articulation is however limited to 5point swivel only (neck, arms, & legs). These figures are so sturdy that it survives the playtime with my one year old kid. Sculpt/Detailing and Paint Apps Material used for the tank is made of decent plastic similar to other 3.75” GI Joe vehicles. With most of the detailing molded on to the tank it self (such as extra tank tread, wheel, tools, exhaust, etc.). Paint apps are also fairly done. Since most of the tank’s base color is green, combination of spray painted black created a jungle camouflage effect. Though some of the parts will need painting (such tools) to accentuate it. Added detailing to the tanks body is the two (2) additional chain loop at the front & at the turret. Antenna’s are also mounted at the back of the tank. Extra rubber net also provided to hold extra items loaded at the back. Also, a large battery operated spot light is mounted at the top of the turret which lights up once the orange button is pressed. Sadly the LED lamp used is red. I would have wanted it to be in white. Tank treads are molded with four (4) wheels under it serves as the rolling mechanism. I just wished that they made the treads similar to other tanks in its scale. Loading Capacity The tank as a whole can carry three (3) figures. The first one can sit at the front as the driver. Here’s Wild Bill trying it on. Two (2) other figures can also sit at the tanks turret as guys who will man the two (2) machine guns. The covers slides to reveal cockpit for the figures. Here’s TF Flint & Data Frame manning the machine guns. At the back part, we see another access panel for personnel or artillery storage. Turning the knob will open the containment part of the tank. Another feature of the tank is the missile/rocket launcher. The launcher swivels-up and the rocket/missile can be removed manually. Here are some profile shots. Size Comparisons In terms of size, the M1A1 Abrams tank is still the biggest. But the ROC armadillo is dwarfed by the size of the Soldier Force V tank The Soldier Force V tank is comparably similar to the locally released tank with the yellow & gray color with almost the same features. I got this one at a pretty decent price of 8,995 Korean Won. That’s about less than 500Php when converted to local currency. Pretty decent price eh?! But then again, I had to carry this all the way from Korea . There were two (2) of these at the pegs when I bought it. But because of the size, I hesitated in buying the other one. There is a desert themed color of this which I saw at the internet and at the box art. I Would want to have one of those too. Again thanks for dropping by… Please leave your opinions & suggestion… |

You're not allowed to post picture of that. There are too many of us that have want one for a very long time, that cannot get them in the States. It's not fair to show pictures of one that you picked up.

Too bad can't get it here, it'd be awesome for a photo-novel I'm about to begin work on.
