I see this Shipwreck as potential for a firefighter figure. Give him Barbecue's axe, Pit Commando's mask and grab a fireman helmet and oxygen tank from somewhere, repaint him black and yellow and he's ready to douse some flames and rescue cats from trees.

I still say it's cool that they included the Springfield. I think it's a nice nod, just like it was with the 25th 2 pack CG. I love how everyone cries that Hasbro has forgotten about the old timers who loved ARAH, then they toss you a little bone, and everyone cries like a school girl.
Sure, in a perfect world they would have done away with that stupid ass missile launcher, and maybe included a shotty, and pistol. Like I said before, everyone whines about all the characters with 3, or 4 weapons and no holsters. Now you got something to do with them. Swap some to Shippy. Lastly, While we all realize that Polly wouldn't last in the arctic, I don't see them doing away with him anytime soon. For better or worse, He is part of Shipwreck's image.

my only complaint about the figure was addressed in the review of the fig. Why does he come with Polly? I know he's Shipwreck... but really?
Aside from that he looks pretty cool

You'll get no argument from me on the Polly issue, I've just come to realize that if they included him in the arctic theatre that there's not much else they are going to be dealing with that would exclude him.
I don't think they are going to seperate them. The only hope would have been if the original RoC Shipwreck had been rebooted without Polly. That would have suited me just fine, but I think it's too late now. Other then Doc, i think all the Artic troops are killer.

I love this pic. they all look great displayed together. now all you need is Duke. As much as I like Doc, I don't think he would fit in with these guys, I'll have to put him in with the 25th's |

Hey look! It's Frostbite! I'm so glad I'll have a proper driver for my Snow Cat! WHHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU?
Nice looking figure, but come on, Hasbro. It should be Frostbite. You know it, I know it and the American people know it. |

Ok.. so I sit here seeing a half dozen whines about a parrot in the artic... Granted parrots are tropical birds... Comming from the places where artic weather can and does effect where I once lived... And from having parrots, and perticularly one like Polly... Did any of you ever once think, outside of the box? A Parrot is not a finch... Parrots are also considered birds of prey. Now Alaska... is considered artic-like, specially in winter. Eagles are birds of prey... they too live in the wild in the snow and surive just fine. Difference between them and Polly? A bird can live in the wild, in the cold, but they can also build and fortify nests, similar to homes we live in. They could survive. Difference here with Polly being in artic? He's got Shipwreck to help where need be. It is not a problem rather or not the bird can survive in the snow... he's not alone.
So in short, Just because they let him keep Polly in the artic theme, WHERE is Timber for Snake Eyes? Timber IS a climate animal... gave him a Timber for the PP figure.. overall, I would enjoy this figure.. But the rifle? It'd have to be hung on a wall somewhere.
