The final two pieces are the hill and the flag.
These are actually made quite well and look fantastic when the set is assembled.
Finally the entire box set unpacked and assembled as seen in the picture. I was quite pleased with the end results and I think this will look awesome sitting on my shelf with the rest of my collection. I have to commend Hasbro/Kenner for at least trying to capture the feeling of the comic book with this set and overall I give it an 7 out of 10. I subtracted for the lame versions of Breaker and Rock n Roll. I also think that the accessories could have been thought out a little better. Some of the pieces just didn't fit and most of the helmets and backpacks where poorly made.
I only paid around $40.00 for the whole set and I have seen them go for much higher. The individual figures have been seen for around $10.00 to $15.00 each but I wouldn't pay any more than $50.00 for this set if you are looking to pick it up.
I hope to do more classic reviews in the future. If anyone has any suggestion then feel free to drop me an IM.

I'd really love to see them re-do this set with the O13 25th figures (maybe for the 30th anniversary of ARAH Joe in 3 years) Would be a great opportunity to fix Grunt and Shortfuse (new heads maybe?), and do some real premium paint jobs...
My 25th Most Wanted List:
1. Tunnel Rat <-CHECK! 2. General Hawk (v2)<-CHECK! 3. Leatherneck <-CHECK(kinda...)
4. Jinx 5. Dusty <-CHECK! 6. Snow Serpent <-CHECK! 7. Tele-Viper <-CHECK(kinda...)

I remember when this came out and it was the first time I had set eyes on new Joes since I stopped collecting in 1985. I picked it up took a good look at the figures and said WTF...what is this crap? I was collecting Star Wars figures at the time and walked away from this set thinking it was just sad. Based on your reviews looks like Stalker, Zap and Short Fuse aren't half bad.

The helmets are just complete garbage though. The stalker is amazing. I don't know how him and Short Fuse made it into this set.

I was a little dissapointed. I may just use classic figures on the display. It isn't bad but it isn't great either.

Always wanted this. I still kick myself in the ass for not picking up any of the Joes from that line. That was when I was "growing up" and not collecting toys phase.
F5'ing since Slaughtergate '10!
I have extra MOTUC figures for anyone looking.
Looking for Dial Tone, Big Boa, Sgt Slaughter

One thing you may want to mention is that the box had a special "15th anniversary" logo. Or am I mis-remembering things.
It's also interesting how they did not use the original "single figure card art" for Rock n' Roll, Breaker and Clutch. Including a shot of Clutch as "Grunt" is just wrong. But I did like how they dug up old pictures of Rock n' Roll and Breaker on the Whirlwind and RAM, respectively.
