Several people are looking for Rex and his wave, I was lucky enough to fond them at Walmar of all places(WTF?) Since they put waaaay too many figures out to fill space.
I guess I'm all caught up, since there are no longer any mystery figures on the back of the cards that aren't out. Here's a couple of quick notes. PP Baroness - despite molded glasses, excellent likeness, and a great selection of guns Arctic Snake Eyes - really cool and sword fits in backpack. Of only the string came off... Para-Viper - Rumble to the 25th's Frenzy Accelerator Duke - nothing new, wrist attachments improve it. Impact Armor Ripcord - again, figure not much new, but great weapons and his little launcher tank is PackRatish Rex - Pretty neat and unique. Nice Psycho Mantis body. Arctic Storm Shadow - What the hell is going on here? Here's my questions: Storm Shadow is packed with a sword in his gauntlet. Am I right to put this tiny blade in there? Am I missing something about the handle on the backpack? Para-Viper. There's no way to get him on his launcher/copter is there? Is this a practical joke? Is Rex's hair destined to fall off? Anyone have luck boiling and reshaping? Overall, great group despite my confusion. |

That Storm Shadow is a whole bag of WTF to me.
And I hear ya on that Para-Viper accessory... its just... fail. Otherwise, good wave. Rex, PPB, and SE all rock. Rex and Ripcord are my two faves of the wave. |

Found out that PP Baroness comes with a Nonomite Warhead kill switch. The little silver part of her giant missile launcher comes off and fits in her hands.

Well, damn! That'll teach me to disregard a launcher. Now I gotta go through the ziploc I have full of them.

Thank you, that is exactly why I made a thread. I just discovered that Ripcord's long rifle can plug into his tank drone. Clip goes intothe slot next to the cannon. May not be intentional, but it fits alright. |

You're right about the ArctiC SS and the little blade. But as was pointed out to me, he looks way cooler if you add Rex's claw hands to the gauntlets.

It does look cool. It sort of complete's his savage lunatic motif he's got going on. Jet pack and a bo staff...so strange.

That arctic SS just makes no sense. Got him from HTS today...I think if I'd seen him in a store I might've had the good sense to pass on him. I just can't figure out what's going on with that guy.

He's got: a backpack that may be a jetpack with pop out swords/wings and a handle for no reason. Also shoulder straps in addition to a peg. A bo staff. Standard ROC SS swords and sheath backpack. Useless while he's wearing his death machine. tiny blade which apparantly slides into his gauntlet instead of the sword hat was packaged in there. The 2 gauntlets. One is huge because of the hidden blade, so if you want the gauntlets for a custom, you need 2 of him! A shiny silver chest rope...to compliment his horrible wounds. A scrap of shirt, or poorly cared for ascot, your choice! And there is the upcoming "film accurate" variant with maskless head and no ascot. Maybe that one will have instructions to unbreak my brain. I do wonder, after this variant and white Rex, if we'll see a Snake Eyes with white mask. Oh the horror. |
