I have one and I love it. It's a great chopper. The pop-out missile bays are a lot of fun. The only complaint I have is the front Gatling gun. It's just not sophisticated enough. It just needs to be a little bigger and able to swivel up and down. It's the only complaint I have with the chopper.... well, that back wheel could be a little closer in - for such a small chopper, it leaves a huge footprint.
Why aren't there more Joes from the Deep South?
And would it kill Hasbro to give us a Marine Corps Officer?

I keep meaning to pick this up. I want it for the Wild Bill to have a decent sized head and copter for him.

I like the pop-out missle launchers. It reminds me of the hidden gun-pods on the Airwolf copter. My only complaint is that for $25 this thing could have been just a little bigger. As it stands, the vehicle actually sits so low that if someone approaches it they'll lose their head from the rotors. It also becomes apparent when you try to squeeze Wild Bill in with his hat on. It's possible, but not easy. Ugh. Still, for a small, powerful attack copter, it makes a good counter to the Fangs I've army-built so far, and when you have everything set up, it's a lot of fun to fly around the room and escorting my Blackhawk.
I give it an 7 out of 10.
The price and size both count against it, but it looks beautiful and once the canopy closes and the missle-pods pop out, the fun-factor becomes evident.

Very thorough review.. love the photobucket pics! Do you think this thing could be painted easily? And can the gun be altered to move up and down!
This is actually what I think of when I think of the Dragonhawk!

I like mine... love how the missiles are hidden and not huge like a lot of the ROC stuff.

The only thing that's kept me away from this is the price point. But I think after today I'm gonna give in.

I got mine after a futile search Thanks to General Hawk 59 and i was a little sad by the size.
the turret could have been longer, and had more flexibility- as in a ball joint attachment for true positioning/aiming.
The gimmick is neat, but i have a question:
why weren't the missiles loaded like the Hellfires on the Apache, (the rail- rack system) and they could be spring launched?
i would have paid 25-30 for the realism of that gimmick.
Mine sits in front of my 32" monitor/TV and looks good. i just can't display it near my D-fly or FANG.
Anyone have "turbulance" with their main rotor? when i spin mine, as it slows, it wobbles something fierce.
Rest in Peace, Dad.
