Quick review with pics of the fig received in the mail a couple of days ago.
Im a big fan of the figure and this update. Check it out below Cobra Island 7-Pack Outback (Mini review) - Skymates - Australian G.I. Joe Collectors |

I love almost everything about the figure. I just have a few issues with it myself:
1). The gloves drive me CRAZY! The way they sit on the wrists, it looks like his hands are gonna snap off. Forget about holding his rifle. I'm changing the hands on my figure. 2). While I like the vest, it isn't like the original and it covers the "SURVIVAL" logo. 3). The flashlight I can live with. I just leave it on his leg. Best part to me though was the face sculpt. Hasbro got it dead on... finally. |

great review- thanks! I didn't initially like the Outback figure until the Special Missions issue from the original Marvel run- I thought that having one lone guy running eluding a company of bad guys was pretty cool- in a short sleeve shirt in the winter, no less

Is it me or does his head look too large for his upper torso? perhaps a larger upper body would have better suited his head sculpt

cheers guys
Yeah in one particular pic i noticed the head looked a bit out of proportion; but in hand, it all pretty ok size wise for the figure. One thing i forgot to mention and did miss a bit was the camo pants of the vintage fig.....but i guess we cant have everything. |
