The Ice Dagger has the three wheels underneath so it rolls on floors.
I don't understand why there is a small black step on the driver's side just forward of the tracks. It has a foot peg but seems to be out of place as a way to climb inside. There is not one on the passenger side, so I guess they have to climb up the ski...
When you flip it over there is a grey colored access hatch that probably was intended for batteries. No screw hole though, so I can't open it. I have not tried to pry it open and would rather not disassemble the chassis to see if it was a battery compartment cover.
The rear compartment and hatch are really miss-sized. The hatch folds down like a Bradley ramp but also has a door that any Joe would have a tough time getting out of. The seat is flush with the floor. Popping up the turret does not create more room, there is a bulkhead between the compartment and the turret. I would rather them sealed the back and let me imagine the engine was back there because right now the vehicle lacks any space for internal mechanical systems like drive axles, engines, fuel tanks...
I would also have rather had a real tow cable then one molded to the side. Also no noticeable cable anchor points are molded on it.
Mine is molded in two distinct colors of plastic too. The turret and the folding panels closely match the RHINO. The body is a few shades lighter.
If you fold down the driver side rear panel, the one with the gunner slit, there is a space for cargo or perhaps another Joe to stand if he were crazy enough to want to be that close to the front of the cannon. Plus there is the molded view slit...
I think it looks like the Thundercats tank...
Overall not impressed and would not buy another.
The mounted MG cannot elevate much, so as an anti-personnel weapon it is limited. There is no trigger or handle assembly to manually fire it. It has a small box magazine belwo it making me wonder if it is not a MG at all. It does have a carrying handle though, indicating it could be dismounted and a manual charging handle.

Got the DTC one last year for $5 so I definitely don't need another at $25

Don't count on much of the ROC stuff going on clearance- I'm just thinking of the Transformers movie stuff from a couple of years ago, which sold well and wasn't marked down. I picked up an Ice Dagger, haven't opened it yet. Since the wave after this (Dragonhawk and Crimson Hydra) is already hitting, I didn't want to risk missing out on it, though I'm guessing they'll continue to ship it in revision cases. I always thought it was a cool vehicle, but the two rear panels not being able to snap shut, and falling open relatively easily, bugged me. Too bad they haven't fixed it.

I picked this up from Walmart last night. Overall, not bad as it can hold a few troops, but I agree with the reviewer that the back would have been better server as a troop carrier rather than have the spring loaded missle seat. Frostbite is pretty weak, they didn't even paint his pants below the skirt, so he looks like he is wearing diapers. He is probably only good for customs or as a generic arctic trooper.

I like it ok. I don't care for the RoC colors or decals, but it's cool I guess. They need to get on the ball and get Cobra some cold weather vehicles. Maybe the Ice Snake or something.
