This week I profiled BJ's Snake Eyes. I'm not hot for the 1989 look, but this version has some novelty value: http://viperpit.xyz/2019/07/29/2002-...es-bjs-8-pack/

Too bad these aren't more available. I blame other fans for bitterly clinging to official toy guides and comic books.

Great write up and site.
Just curious where are these Black Major/ customs coming from? Do they have a website? just sell them on ebay? What's the origin of Black Major? |

As far the Black Major's origin goes, I don't really know too much. Mainly just that he's a collector who at some point in 2010 found the connections to have Joe sculpts produced in factories in China.

It's a shame isn't it? These bootlegs are about the only new GI Joe stuff we have to look forward to, but you still wind up with people that can't stand that.
You mainly get them through the Black Major on Instagram and I think Facebook, though I'm not sure about the later. As far the Black Major's origin goes, I don't really know too much. Mainly just that he's a collector who at some point in 2010 found the connections to have Joe sculpts produced in factories in China. |

First, thanks for stopping by, and I'm sorry I just now saw your post Spidey!
Do you mean figures like this guy? I believe these are just more figures from Red Lasers Army, though I hadn't seen the Old Skool branding until now. I like the way it mimics the Funskool logo, heh. This week's post is on the 2004 Heavy Water: 2004 Heavy Water (Glow in the Dark) - The Viper PitThe Viper Pit
