This week's profile is the 1990 Law figure from the Super Sonic Fighters line:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....hters-law.html Law is an excellent example of a repaint done right. He's not overtly better than the original, but is just as good and definitely different.

Now, Star Wars has a completely different model in terms of production numbers: especially in a movie year. But, it's been said that it's now almost cheaper for Hasbro to make a new mold for a figure than it is to bring an old one back to life. If that can be done with Joe, it opens up possibilities. But, at the same time, the Star Wars stuff was just a year old and may have been created with technology that allows for cheaper recreation that the older Joe molds simply don't have. Quote:
If they stick with 3.75, I'm expecting something more in style to the upcoming Corps figures- solid range of articulation, but not an extreme amount with far less "geebles" than most 25th/ME figures were designed around. Without a vest of some sort, most figures just look BAD because they were ALL designed to have a bunch of crap stacked on top of a base figure.
Speaking of...I'd be quite curious to see your thoughts on the next wave of Corps figures due out this year, with Four Horsemen sculpting and classic o-ring articulation styles.

Today's new profile is of the Mail Away Skyhawk:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....y-version.html The different green is a nice variant from the original.

Today's profile is the 2002 Alley Viper:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....ley-viper.html This guy is a staple of early 2000's army building. But, he has help up very well in the ensuing 15 years. (Yeah, this guy is 15 years old!)

Today's new profile is of the 2017 Sightline figure from Red Laser:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....sightline.html He's a nice looking figure that brings some new visual diversity to supplement figures from the early years.

Today's profile is the 1991 Eco Warriors Ozone figure:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....-warriors.html I first knew this mold only as an astronaut. I later found the Eco Warriors original. The blue, yellow and green make for a very different looking figure who fits with his specialty.

Today's new profile is of the 1984 Clutch figure:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....ii-driver.html As a kid, this was my only swivel arm Clutch available. But, he served well in my collection as a representation of the classic character.

I ran out of monsters for a Halloween profile. So, I'll go with a vehicle used by a villainous group using a spooky skull and crossbones as their logo. So, today's profile is the Red Shadows Shadowtrak:

Today's new profile is the 1994 Action Pilot:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....ion-pilot.html He looks like Sterling Archer but that's about all the figure offers. I wanted to like him but the mold just didn't deliver.
