Today's new profile is of the 1997 Cobra Commander.
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....commander.html Despite the mold appearing a bunch of times, this 1997 release is the only figure that featured a substantially different color scheme.

In honor of Thanksgiving, I'm profiling a turkey of a figure: the 2001 Zartan. He's really just terrible and it's embarrassing this figure was ever made:

Today's profile is the 2004 Tracker Kwinn figure. Collectors were enthused about the new comic packs when they first showed up. But, overproduction and the laziness of the designs set in and they quickly became clearance fodder.

I don't have a lot going on this month. But, there's a few new posts of various figures with links to their content around the web. This week is the 1994 Metal Head.

New profiles are back. 2018 kicks off with the 2000 Chameleon figure:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....chameleon.html The new character is pretty bad. But, the figure is pretty good.

Mike, as I've mentioned before, I love your articles/reviews. I read them every week. However, I gotta say, at the end of each review you give a market price estimate of what that figure is selling for on the current market. Personally, I watch ebay like a hawk, literally everyday. In my opinion, the price/cost estimates you give are consistently lower than what I'm seeing on ebay. Also, it's been my experience that these toy store websites often list their items at higher prices than ebay.
I guess I'm just curious if you have a cheaper source than ebay, or if it's just a coincidence that your estimates run lower? I know that prices can be lower at the conventions, but those are few and far between. Anyway, Thanks and keep up the good work! |

This week's new profile is of the Red Laser's Army Outlaw figure:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....-joe-show.html My interest in the figure was for a lazy custom. But, I've found that the as is design is pretty solid, too.

This week's profile is the 1984 Deep Six figure:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....-deep-six.html I hated him as a kid...to the point that I didn't consider him an actual figure. As a collector, not much has changed.

This week's profile is of the 1993 Dr. Mindbender figure:
https://forgotten--figures.blogspot....indbender.html I want to like this sculpt and claim it's just bad colors that does it in. But, that's not really the case and this isn't a great update of the Mindbender character.
