So, first off, no flaming the movie. We all know it sucks. Let's leave it at that. 'Zilla was killed off in Final Wars and let the lizard Rest in Peace...
I was intrigued when I first saw this jet customized on Joecustoms.com. Great site by the way, if maybe a little Spartan. But I wanted to see about getting one to compliment my proposed EA-18G Growler that I bought from England a few short weeks ago. The F-18 I got way two seat and figured I could add some EW pods without too much work and not have to build my proposed EA-6B Prowler... Well, I picked this puppy up off of Amazon. It was the last one and I figured it would be worth it for the price cut that it was given. Paid $45 all told with shipping included. Pretty good for a rare toy. I'll explain the tampon string later. Well, there is quite a size differential with this plane and the other planes. I won't even compare it to the PTE F-18, because it's ridiculous. I'll show you the X-30 comparison since they're both from the same small fighter class. It's actually a very well-made toy and very representative of how the Hornet looks and feels. It has all the right lines and curves. Continued

Sure the missiles seem a little gimicky, but it a toy. Oh and the string... Apparently, the front part of the centerline fuel tank shoots off with the push of the small red button on top. The lanyard keeps it from disappearing from the toy. But the missiles don't have it... Concluded...

The figures fit well inside the cockpit, so that's the great redeeming thing about this little mosquito.
And Scarlett can't even bend her legs to fit into my other planes, but she fits in this perfectly. Maybe this'll be her fight. All in all, a solid effort. It;s too bad we couldn't see more of Trendmasters work before they went belly up.

This toy seems like it is the same size as the Terminator A-10. |

This thing looks like a big Micro Machine toy from the 90's.

That sucks. I did enjoy this movie though and I remember the toys quite well. Talk about a marketing campaign that went bust. Sheesh, those guys would not reveal a thing until the very last min......
