A couple of very cool figs. The only issue I have is with the pairing. I mean how long could Tunnel Rat hold out against Stormy anyway.

Already did it :P
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...-shredder.html I ready love Tunnel Rat. Only complaint I have is the said problem with his eyes. He is awesome. The Storm Shadow is quite nice to. At least it ain't the Storm Shadow we've seen way to many times. Plus, GI Joe Shredder |

I liked the comic. It sort of dropped you in the middle of a new story, but it was a good story... I guess you can think of how Storm Shadow got there by yourself.

I love this set-Tunnel rat looked a bit strange at first.
IMO the original is one of the better vintage figures. But I love the Storm Shadow-I have 2 both with thier helmets on and naginatas in hand and I use them as Arashikage temple guards

I really dig the Tunnelrat fig. The SS fig is kinda weird, but I still like
him. I remember as a kid, I raised $236.00, for a school fundraiser, selling the world's finest chocolate. When I went to the school lunchroom to redeem my prize I got to pick from the middle table.I thought by selling $236 worth of candy I would get a big prize. I was wrong. That day a Tunnelrat came home with me, and I've loved him ever since. Looking back on it, I feel like I was gypped.Especailly after all that hard work pushing candy bars. But was I really??? Tunnelrat kicks so much ass! Now if we could just get Hasbro to put him out as a singlecarded!!! Great reveiw....ROCK ON TANKERS!!!! |

Everyone complaining about TR's eyes, just Google a picture of Larry Hama. There are a couple out there where he's smiling big and his eyes squinch shut. To me it's like they used one of those pics for TR's sculpt. I would be curious whether Hasbro showed the design to Hama before hand since it so obviously uses his likeness. I figure if he signed off on it, then there's no reason for complaint.
I'm really happy with him. It looks like he's a Shipwreck Torso and forearms, with Flint shoulders. His legs are shorter though - can't tell if they're new or not. I am a huge fan of having the figures being different heights and builds as it ads another level of detail. Mine also holds the gun just fine. Storm Shadow is interesting, but he went straight into storage. I bought this solely for Tunnel Rat. |
