I think I like the HoH Flint better. I'm still not 100% sold on his new head although these pics are better than the ones we've seen already. In these, though, Flint looks a lot like either Thomas Hayden Church (Sandman from Spidey 3) or Neil Flynn (Janitor from Scrubs).

Agreed. Too goofy looking for me. I like the tough looking Shipwreck better. I'm kinda looking forward to the "Movie" version of him as it resembles his more modern appearance than his Village People look.

These guys look great. The only thing I don't like is Flint's new shotgun. It looks like an old Daisy BB gun with the stock missing. He should have came with an SPAS (special purpose automatic shotgun) like the new 12" figure.

As expected, I'm-a skipping this one. I didn't like that version of SE the first time around, black or purple, still looks goofy. I'd say Flint is nice, Dull Surprise expression and all, but the HoH version is essentially identical. Shipwreck just looks odd. There's stuff I like about the new LJ, but I already bought a DVD set just for LJ, I'm not gonna do that again here.

thanks for the nice review and pics. however, i gave the set a 5, overall. the only real major improvement is Shipwreck, to me, which is a must have (thanks largely to getting rid of the stupid closed fist and fixing the head sculpt). SE is a little better than the other versions, but i have never been fond of the design of that one, anyway. the Lady Jaye and Hawk (besides Hawk's goggles) are both steps backward from prior releases (i mean DVD-version LJ, not the single-carded monstrosity). the Flint.... well, yes, it does have better arms, but the face looks ridiculous and i prefer the camo design on the pants of the first release.
