I found a Shockblast and Destro set today. Shockblast is cool, I like the gas mask feature really awesome. Need to place an order with Marauder to get him some better looking pistols. As for Destro....I'm not sure what to say....I mean he's an interesting figure and the revolver is cool. So I'm a little on the fence with this one. The comic was pretty cool too. I' interest to see if we get a Nitro Dude or if he died in that issue. He didn't say anything in the issue, but I don't want to tell anyone why because I don't want to ruin the issue for anyone. So far I've been impressed with the Resolute series can't wait for it to aire

More details on the backpack and the various mods can be found here: Linky. I actually have TR's vintage backpack also, but the sucker is just too huge. Even for the 25th frame, it's a bit much. |

If you want to go with modern/25th era backpacks I think Falcon's might make a good one for Shockwave because he has the giant knife rack just like SW had. I always buy the old vintage BP's and just retool them to fit onto the modern figures. Good job, though!

Great design ideas. I like it. Darth Brett maybe (if haven't already) give us a turtorial on how to convert vintage backpack to fit the 25th line.

There are two ways to go about it. One is to just make the peg hole in the figure bigger. Or you can go about doing it in the reverse, which is basically just trimming down the backpack's peg until it's small enough to fit (but still snug) into the modern figure's back. For me, making the peg hole in the back is easier, but either way is not overly difficult. I used this method for my custom Tele-Viper and Short-Fuze figures and both turned out great.

You really don't get the character at all, do you? The guy is supposed to be the little guy that is full of heart, guts and determination on the team. A fiery, spark plug type of guy. If it were up to you, would every character be the same height and weight?
