i don't get why you don't like Shortfuze, he's much more unique than most of the 25th versions of the original 13. I think he's a nice addition.
only waste of a figure is the Cobra Commander. I thought Destro was going to suck but he actually looks quite nice. But Stalker and the Cobra Gunner are the true gems of this set. |

Found 2 near the TARGET by MENLO-passing this on to any Jersey Joe that wants one, it was 62$ and it was on the end aisle on top of the SWCW display.

Actually, the 1998 Mobat already was switched to the screw for the battery cover.

And the handles on the turret.
The vintage back engine cover does fit on the new one so if someone really wanted the tow hook, you can swap them. That's what I did, but you have to unscrew the vehicle. Also, the reason the turret can't go any lower is because of the way the motor fits in. I have modified one before in the past so the figure can go in deeper but if you drop anything in there, you'll have to take the tank apart again to remove it. Your figures will also likely get greasy too cause there's quite a lot of grease inside the tank....at least in the vintage one.

Gi Joe collectors are the whinnest people in the world......worse than a bunch of complaining women! Just be happy you have the opportunity to purchase something joe related and that you have Joe items on shelves. Would you be complaining if you were 8 again about Short Fuze and has lack of articualtion? No, you'be "glowing" opening up this bad boy tying firecrackers to Destro after shot my the tank. Jeesh.
