This is the same Snow Serpent we got in wave 9. Nothing is changed, and nothing needed to be changed. We can always use more Snow Serpents.
Snow Serpent comes with a Backpack, Rocket with stand, Rifle, two Snow Shoes and a Cobra Stand Figure Rating: 9 ½ out of 10 Last edited by Shogi; 08-31-2011 at 06:14 PM.. |

This is a Viper with Cobra Trooper arms. The effect looks good, looks like a Viper unrolled his sleeves and put on different gloves. The color theme looks nice with a medium blue over all color, the vest is grey with black highlights. The backpack now has silver highlights. Cobra Viper comes with removable Goggles, Backpack, Rifle, removable Vest and a Cobra Stand.

This is also just like the wave 9 Snow Serpent with two differences. He has a new paint scheme and Battle Armor Cobra Commander's gun. The colors on this figure are great. They're enough to differentiate from the other Snow Serpents while still complementing the sculpt. The main body is still light grey, all the fur areas are now brown, the boots and straps are a dark grey, the face is blue and the goggles are translucent yellow. Snow Serpent Officer comes with Gun, Backpack, Rocket with stand, Rifle, two Snow Shoes and a Cobra Stand

This version of Scrap-Iron is made up of a new head with removable visor, Cobra Trooper arms and torso and Firefly legs. Completing the look is the addition of Comic Pack Firefly Vest and Belt. Also included with Scrap-Iron is his faithful remote controlled rocket launcher. The legs look to be retooled so they are one piece of plastic rather than the three separate pieces that used to make them up. The bottom peg on the launcher is thinner now too. Other than that, the rest looks about the same. Scrap-Iron comes with the rifle from Comic Pack Firefly and the pistol from VvV Baroness. The pistol is a very thick modern looking revolver. Unfortunately it's too thick to properly fit into the holster on his leg. Scrap-Iron come with Rifle, Pistol, two Rockets, Rocket Launcher, Rocket Launcher Legs, Remote Control, removable Vest and a Cobra Stand

Tele-Viper is made up using a Wave 7 Arctic Snake-Eyes body and a Tele-Viper head. All that was needed to make this figure a great representation of an Arctic Tele-Viper would be the addition of some communications gear. Well Hasbro came through in a big way here. First off we get what looks like Mainframe's portable computer. Only this time they added on folding legs to the bottom of it! Mainframe's telephone is also included here. Also included with this set is Falcon's backpack with radio and knife, this time in the same blue color that the computer is in. Now to top everything off , Tele-Viper has a familiar looking gun, it's an updated version of Dial-Tone's submachine gun. In all Tele-Viper comes with a Knife, Backpack, Radio with removable Antenna, Telephone, Portable Computer with folding legs, Submachine Gun and a Cobra Stand.
I have nothing but praise for this figure, this is what I want all arctic figures to look like and the homage of using accessories from other techie figures was great. For those wondering what to do with the telephone, there's room in the backpack for it. Figure Rating: 10 out of 10 Last edited by Shogi; 08-31-2011 at 06:14 PM.. |

Like the other Snow Serpent, this one is exactly the same. The only differences here are with the accessories he comes with. Being the Heavy Weapons Specialist, this Snow Serpent comes with a grey Bazooka backpack with four black shells and a black bazooka. He also has a black rifle that came with Comic Pack Falcon and being a Snow Serpent, he has the trademark snow shoes. Like all the others he comes with a Cobra Stand.
The addition of Bazooka's accessories to a Snow Serpent was a great idea. It adds a little diversity to each squad. Figure Rating: 9 ½ out of 10 Last edited by Shogi; 08-31-2011 at 06:14 PM.. |

This is an odd Viper, he's made from a Viper head, Copperhead body and Roadblock V2 Vest with Belt. The arms are painted to look like he has skin tight sleeves stopping just below the elbow. This Viper uses accessories from Roadblock and the Snow Serpent. He comes with a Pistol, Machine Gun with Tripod, Backpack, Rifle, Rocket with stand, Removable Vest, Bullet Belt and Cobra Stand.
This is my least favorite of the set. I like how they pulled off the arms (Wish they had done this with the original 13 instead of using Duke arms) but that's really all I like about this figure. Figure Rating: 6 out of 10 Last edited by Shogi; 08-31-2011 at 06:14 PM.. |

Like many of the new box sets, this one has a nice looking background insert. It shows a snowy landscape with a Cobra bunker in the background.
The Viper figures are the low point of this set for me. That said, this set is still well worth the buy. Factored out, the figures come out to $4.28-$5 each. In my opinion there are 4 must have figures, an interesting version of a named character (Scrap-Iron) and two other figures. I've included a group picture of all my Cobra Arctic figures (Including customs) Last edited by Shogi; 08-31-2011 at 05:22 PM.. |

Thanks for the review. The Tele-Viper and the trooper arm Viper looks great. I love Scrap iron's face. Wow he got messed up lol. The snow serpents are what I expected. There is some awesome weapons in this set. That roadblock/copperhead viper looks awful. Can't wait to get my set from BBTS.
