Probably my favorite figure so far. Best looking when posed on the shelf by far.
The only figure I am willing to purchase multiple repaints of. I will by the Air 3pack from TrU just for him and the helmet. And while I am getting the cp with Scrap Iron for SI, I don't even really mind the Six Flags Wild Bill look. |

One of the 1st figs back in the day my brothers & I had in our collection (along with Wild Weasel... got both for the same Xmas... & because they both had "Wild" in there name I always viewed them as mortal enemies more than Ace & WW... but...)
I like this fig a lot, & think his design asthetic is pretty solid. My only gripe with this fig is the small head. I am happy about the Cartoon repaint & I'm cool with "Black Bill" repaint from the SRO set too, I'll probably leave the pilot helmet on that one to make him look even more different. He is warming the pegs now since the repack, but when wave 7 originally came out he was actually the hardest guy to find in my area, even beating the Hiss Driver out in rarity. @_@ |

It's a pretty nice figure... without a shiny new Dragonfly to go with it, it just feels superfluous though.

love this figure...and there arent too many pegwarming in my area...in fact, everyone on earth found him months before i did.
it was tough to find a good paint job on him, much less great. SRO colors are nice too....not too thrilled about comic pack colors. |

He is pretty well done- I sort of cram him into the DF. I wasn't a fan of the pistols though- very flimsy. 8/10- agreed.

[QUOTE=artiepants;304259]i'm actually pretty sure Ace was a "prepaint" of Wild Bill, given the chaps and other WB-centric features o the mold.
Ace's chaps are actually a G-suit, but it works out both ways pretty well. I have purchased a few of these to make some western style customs but have no idea what to do about the holsters. But when I have this guy aiming the revolver, I know I want to make a Roland of Gilead custom. Love the figure! |
