Unlike most of the new vehicles, you can tell the RAM has a lot of differences. It still has a bunch that are hidden though but let’s looks at the obvious first.
The removable saddle bags are much bigger. This is because they can now open and hold stuff. (In fact one of them is packaged with a grey gun in it!) The barrel on the gatling gun can now rotate with the addition of a knob to the back of it. (It’s extremely tight and feels like it’ll break at any moment) The head and taillights have been replaced with clear plastic now and then there’s the handlebars. I’m not a fan of the handlebars. I feel these handlebars make the RAM look antiquated when it’s supposed to be a high tech motorcycle. Now for the updates that are hard to see or downright hidden. Inside the fairing, behind the handlebars Hasbro has added a new part with gauges on it. The seat is slightly taller now and the gas tank has been made thinner to allow more leg room. The pegs that used to hold the figure’s legs in place have been moved and reduced from 4 to 2. (one on each side) This doesn’t affect how figures sit on the RAM at all. The connectors that hold the gatling gun in place have been changed as has the exhaust pipes it plugs into. Those exhaust pipes are now completely removable! The wheels have a little more detail on them and now spot painted rims. The one change that totally surprised me and I wasn’t able to find on my own, is the removable panel on the side of the gatling gun that now shows the inner workings of the gun. All these changes equal into a wicked cool update of the RAM that has been made significantly better in almost every way. Except for the handlebars. I believe the only reason Breaker is packaged with the RAM is because he’s on the box art. I see no reason for him to come with this vehicle and I think a Rock N Roll figure would have been a better choice. Now that that’s out of the way…
Like Serpentor, Breaker is a repack with fewer accessories. The same Snake-Eyes torso, Duke legs and arms along with the same inflated Breaker head we got in the comic pack. The helmet even still has the holes for the communication gear that doesn’t come with this version. Breaker is also sporting the typical web gear, which is mostly great. I like the gun holster on the side of it, but I think it’s unnecessary and adds too much bulk that can get in the way of arm movement. This Breaker figure is fine for a generic Greenshirt or in the background of a diorama, but it’s missing all the things that made the comic version good. What it does come with is a small black gun, a grey gun, the big helmet and a GI Joe stand. I’m including the grey gun since it fits into the holster on his leg even though the gun came in the RAM’s saddlebag. Figure Review: 6 out of 10 Last edited by Shogi; 08-31-2011 at 06:14 PM.. |

very upsettin on these figures that came wit the vehicles. very not thought of, i would of made a whole new guy wit the vehicles, an gave em all bad ass equipment. but i geuss they figured it would be cheaper . im jus usin all the figures for parts to make new guys. i like breakers web gear though. cant beat that , it would be nice to have the head gear equipt to the helmet, that was jus gay. , an any one ever notice how well breakers helmet fits on serpentors head. looks pretty good as well, like a kojack of some sort. i think im namin him bull . he jus looks like an old italian dude that dont fuck around.

The thing that surprises me is that the picture on the back of the packing SHOWS Breaker with the headgear and bubble gum. But then they are not in the package...

Ram is awesome. Why did we get a crappy Breaker with it?
